2 massive things reared their ugly head in todays game:
1. We have no go to elite WR option. Until one or both come back, we are going to struggle on O.

2. Ernest Jones is missed immeasurably. It's laughable when either of the twits we have out there run a ILB blitz. Stonewalled every time. Jones was potentially the best in the league at the ILB blitz. Not to mention his ability to stop the run. Just inexcusable to get rid of him just before the season. Based on what I've heard, he was willing to play out his contract. Which is exactly what we should have had him do...

Without Kupp and/or Nacua the offense cannot be consistently good enough. And the defense isn't beating anybody by itself.

This fucking sux...

Just my opinion TX.
I think what is most important is to keep the D off balance and take advantage situationally. I feel like we lose that rhythm at times, it isn't even about run/pass ratios as much as using the highest percentage call to facilitate success.

No question we miss Kupp, Higz, & Nacua in the RZ but we have to find our rhythm and path to success and we haven't......Yet!
I respect and can agree with most of what you said but Kyren is our best player available outside of Stafford right now. And we take him out of the game with McVay's play calling. I'd rather us take our chances with the ball in Kyren's hand as opposed to taking 3 low percentage pass plays - especially when you look at the receivers we have to lean on. It's just insanity.

Edited to add that I'm speaking strictly in the red zone.

I thought White did well for the most part today. White played that receiver perfectly on the PI.

That was such a bullshit call.
Yeah, it seemed like Caleb didn't have anywhere to go most of the day. We just can't stop RBs.

I want to see some Blake Corum already. Our RBs did ok today but I would like to know if we have a true difference maker in the backfield. I think we had an opportunity to run the ball down their fucking throats today and didn't take advantage of it. And last but not least, get Reeder and Rozeboom off the fucking field already. &$[÷&%&[÷[&$*[÷&&$>#>#&*$>*÷&÷&&@;#*[$]÷^#*. Damn, I guess my venting is over. Got to check with the wife to see if a sympathy BJ is still on the table. Beat the fucking Packers!
She told me it was, so…

I hated the whole scenario where we lost Jones. My thoughts were.. “There has to be a legit reason for this”. Im not sure what it was, contractual, locker room issues, or something else. I am definitely not a fan of Reeder or Rozeboom. We will have to see how it all plays out over the season. I hated losing Ogletree and Littleton. Both turned out to be savy moves by McSnead. As of the beginning of week 4 Reeder has more tackles than Jones and Rozeboom has just 2 less. I don’t know if the lynch pin to our defensive woes is the trade of Jones. Time will tell.

I have a question. I was not able to watch the game, so was wondering if McVay reverted back to 11 personnel for the most part again. Did he?

100% confident this is our lynch pin for our team. Yes the Secondary has its issues but not like the run defense. If you’re giving up 5 yds a rush yeah, that’s not going to play out well.

But we got a conditional sixth round pick for Jones five years from now! :eyeroll:
