You can thank Kyren for those inflated numbers.

I’m Staffords last 17 games, he has 4100 yards (great), 18 TDs to 15 ints.

Stafford would be a backup on most playoff caliber teams with those numbers. In fact, his 17 game TD stat is about to get passed by a rookie.

Don’t get me wrong, when he’s hot, he’s top 5.

The problem is he hasn’t been hot in two years. We can make all the excuses in the world, but the bottom line is he isn’t winning and he’s not putting the ball in the endzone.
he's not 100% ever I believe. but has moxie.

My playoffs hopes went out the window with the Pittsburgh loss. A below average offense had their way with our defense in the second half. A worse offense in Green Bay also had their way with our defense in the second half. That just confirmed what I thought going into that game.

On the bright side, if the Seachickens and the minor 9ers keep losing, we might win the division with seven wins!

And that’s fine. I would absolutely LOVE to be proven wrong. It’s just that it’s the second season of the same shit. He’s played average to below average in a majority of the games. I don’t think he’s necessarily holding the team back (as Rypein demonstrated), but I also don’t believe he’s the difference maker he was in ‘21
Though I still put some of the blame on play calling and the offense in general, but I agree with you to a point.

That said, I don't recall seeing this team drop so many passes since they left St. Louis. Absolute drive killers.

I don't think so. No consistency on Offense, play calling is all over the place.

The defense has major deficiencies on the front line and the linebacker group.

Is this fixable, this up coming draft and free agency offseason.

the rams (McVay) are playing uninspired offensive football. Seattle just got better, if Geno plays decent, they win this one. go rams!
p.s. wasn't Lafluer supposed to help McVay and get the offense going? haven't heard a peep. did he disappear or were we delusional that it would help McVay? crickets...

Yeah big disappointment imo. Our run blocking schemes often seem ill-designed and easily blown-up this year.

I prefer Seattle doesn't lose 10 games. SF either. I don't want either of them getting a QB who slides in round 1 if that happens. Ideal is both of them losing in the playoffs quickly as per usual, or one of them narrowly missing the playoffs and the other being eliminated quickly.

The one thing we have over them is the QB situation. Either or both could get that figured out in this draft, but I don't want them picking high enough to dunk that shit.

I want to sweep the seahags. But since we have no shot at winning the division I also want them to beat the 49ers out and put those booger eating morons in the wild card round. Maybe we can sweep them and they sweep the booger eating morons?

Drops are magnified when the offense is struggling and there is no room for error.

We have to win our first game in November with the Stafford/McVay combo. Don't see it happening this week.

They were magnified for me when I read somewhere that they were leading the league in drops. I think another team has overtaken them now, though.

We'll beat Seattle in a few weeks. NFC, so hopefully that helps (and hopefully I didn't just jinx that game).

Think about it. We ain't good this year. And its always been about next year and beyond. If Arizona catches and passes us we could be playing a last place schedule next year. Since we play the NFC east this year and played the NFC south last year, I'm assuming we play the NFC north next year. A last place schedule like would have us playing the Giants and Panthers. I don't know who's the 5th AFC team we would play. But it could be someone like the Patriots or Titans. Or maybe Raiders or Broncos.

That is 3 games that should be more winnable. If we're good enough to go 8-6 or 9-5 aside from those 3 it could mean 11 or 12 wins. If we don't make the playoffs this year I'd much prefer finishing last. Would give us a much easier schedule next year.
