I think the longest pass was to Nucua for 23 yards by which he accounted for 15 plus RAC. I could be wrong it was a long game without much passing from Stafford.
And they had the WR screen covered, yet they kept throwing it. That I didn't understand unless Stafford just had a tough time getting a good grip on the ball in the cold.

You guys crack me up. We play against a team that is better than it's record, and has the 7th ranked Defense in the NFL. It is a cross country game in bad weather conditions. The Jets have noting to lose, so they can try whatever they want, and go for it over and over on fourth down. We win by 10, and in the "Celebration Thread", there are so many complaints. It is funny. This is the NFL, it is hard to fucking win. This was a great win. By the way, neither team was throwing the ball down the field. I wonder if there was a reason for that? Hmmm. I think some people expect the team to play a great game every week, and it just doesn't work that way.

This is a great post, and I'm a little guilty of that.. I complained about some of the play calling.

But.. you're right.. winning is tough!!!! Winning 8 of 10 is really tough!!!

Finding ways to win.. having all three phases doing something big to win the game.. huge.

Every WR screen looked like they were all frozen, moving on ice. Fuck it we won and won by 10. Karty is underrated.
I think the Jets were very focused on stopping those. I said in another post.. I don't know if it was something the Jets were doing structurally.. but it seemed a priority.

On the other hand.. the Rams seemed to be successful running outside.. and I wished they had leaned into that a little more than the screens after they were shut down early.

Also having freak shit happen for like 5 games to escape with a win is hard, too!

If we're the #3 seed and Philly is #2, we'll have to beat them if we win in the Wild Card round.
We can beat Philly if our OL is healthy, and there are no critical injuries. When we played Philly earlier, Avila and Jonah Jackson were just back from IR and were not game tough yet. We didn't even have Big Rob Havenstein at RT for that game. Matthew was harassed all game. Kyren learned from that game to take care of the rock.

I want to see both Philly and Detroit in the playoffs. Time for some well deserved payback!!! :fistbump1:
