the O line was supposed to be a strength.
When was that?
It would look like they were getting it together in the 5th, 6th, and 7th weeks of the season but took a definite step back when they put those three injured back in there and just expecting it was going to work.
J. Jackson has been a disappointment.
Avila hasn't looked that good this season either, possibly because of injuries and looks out of shape.
Everybody else except Dotson has been either injured or a rookie or second year player.
Our rookies and McClendon have actually looked pretty impressive when put into the lineup but of course they are rookies and they are going to be off and on.
It always takes a little while for the line to gel superior teams. Or even occasionally against a Miami.

On the Kyren Fumble was illegal as Kyren was Ruled down by Ref and we snapped. Ref could only stop it, not a challenge flag.

ARTICLE 1. COACH CHALLENGES

  1. The Head Coach may challenge on-field rulings listed in Section 3, except for those plays that only the Replay Official can review (Article 2).

ARTICLE 2. REPLAY OFFICIAL REQUEST FOR REVIEW

Only the Replay Official or the Senior Vice President of Officiating or his or her designee may initiate a review of a play:
  1. that begins after the two-minute warning of each half;
  2. throughout any overtime period;
  3. when points are scored by either team;
  4. that is a Try attempt (successful or unsuccessful); and
  5. when on-field officials rule:
    1. an interception by an opponent;
    2. a fumble or backward pass recovered by an opponent or that goes out of bounds through the opponent’s end zone;
    3. that the offense failed to reach the line to gain on fourth down;
    4. possession by the kicking team at the end of any free kick or scrimmage kick down; or
    5. a disqualification of a player.
Such plays may be reviewed regardless of whether a foul is committed on the play that, if accepted, would negate the on-field ruling.

The Replay Official may only initiate a review of a play until the next legal snap or kick. The Replay Official may consult with a designated member of the Officiating department at the League office regarding whether to initiate a review.

It's called a vent thread. Maybe you should make your own thread about how things are great and all is well.
So you're not inspired by the obvious troll who just started an account?
You must have missed his earlier obvious troll posts.

Maybe you and him can get together and go find a corner to pout in.

Made fucking Barkley look like Eric Dickerson. He is not that good or even as good a the Rams shitty run D made him look. Fucking embarrassing to give up that many yards to 1 guy. And AFTER a fucking knee injury!!! Well at least the Rams didn't give up 70 points. Should've hired Fangio when he was available. Then have an assistant learn it under him.

The offense has not looked right most of the season, and given the investment....that is a problem.

The overhaul on defense that we did a few years ago may be coming on offense.

Losing to the Eagles or Dolphins isn't the problem....it's how we lost. I expected our young defense to get wrecked....they played extremely well against Miami and if not for the three three and outs in the second quarter by the offense, hung tough for as long as possible last night too.

Eagles gained 314 yards rushing.

Our run defense looked like a Division III college team against Alabama or Georgia.

Well your negativity is amazing if you're not trolling because if you know anything about the Los Angeles Rams or the nfl, they are in a rebuilding mode.
It happens to the best of teams but few teams have had the success of the Los Angeles Rams since they hired Sean McVay.
And that is why the Los Angeles Rams are one of the most valuable, premiere franchises in the entire league.
Only a fool would expect a team to not have to rebuilding constantly make the playoffs every year.

And most Ram fans are not fools.
So i'm not sure where that puts you.
Either trolling or a negative nancy which is kind of sad.

The Rams are just not a good team. They are exactly what their record says they are. We have traded jerseys with the Lions at this point. Was it worth it for that SB? It sure felt like it at the time, but as the years go on, and the Lions continue to ascend with our former QB and those picks we gave them to get rid of him..... It gets cloudier. At least for me.

Before anyone decides to puff out their chest and come after me..... It is a fucking VENT thread. Deal with it.

A heavy pass rush is how to beat McVay. Fangio knows it and just reminded the league.

Years later and McVay still doesn’t have an answer for it.

Mcvay said himself that he was here for the long run. I guess I can't blame people for being skeptical after almost leaving after a Superbowl though.
Thats never actually been said by anyone outside of Rams fans.

1) We needed to get a good lead early, and force the game into Hurts arm. Kyren ruined that right away.

2) As I've said for awhile, we lack serious explosion on the outside and in the running game. Kupp/Puka/Drob are nice. But we lack a true outside guy with game break speed.

3) Kyren is a solid scheme fit, but he's not a RB1 I'd want to pay. Haven't for awhile.. he gets TDs but should, with the plays open for him. But above all, the two things he lacks is MAJOR ball security, and explosion. He's not a threat. I, frankly would target Kaleb Johnson from iowa.. the way he runs 100% reminds me of Gurley. A true #1 with explosion, physicality and size.

4) We lack a TRUE outside corner. I wanted DeJean bad in the draft, ended up with Verse and Fiske which is nice. But I wasn't impressed with DWill the end of the first time was here, and wasn't thrilled we brought him back. We lack size and physicality outside. Seems like we have a few #3 CBs playing 1/2/3.

5) Finally, I don't know why.. but each and every time we play a team with a Physical/Alpha mindset, it seems like we get smoked. I think we lack true enforcer leadership along the OL and D.

6) Okay, one more.. some of our FA signings... Jonah, Colby, Tre White and DWill to an extent.. yikes. That's why we are where we are.

Defense will be better next year, but offense needs a refresh on scheme more than a talent refresh.
Needs a mix of both scheme and talent. There's just nothing easy for this offense. There's no Barkley, Chase, Hill type who can turn a simple catch/carry and turn it into 40. Mcvay has always had that in his best offenses. Gurley, Woods, younger Kupp, Cooks, etc. We even saw flashes of it from Akers.
