so wifey sat down and made a list of everything we have growing/will be growing in our yard this year

beets, zuchini, yellow squash, nasturtium,basil, bush beans, pole beans,cucumbers, turnip greens,arugula,lettuce,chard,roma tomatoes,beefsteak tomatoes,dill,carrots,cranberry beans(?),cilantro,parsley,peas,snap peas,sweet bell peppers,hot peppers (ancho and serrano,habs and jalopenos)potatoes,rhubarb,blackberries,blueberries,strawberries,dwarf plums,asparagus,sage,chives,garlic chives,onions,oregano,rosemary,thyme eggplant, pablano peppers,radishes sunflowers and pumpkins

so for the last 3 days my sweet corn is under attack from raccoons. it's not enough that they are eating my corn and leaving the cobs laying all over my yard. they are using the corn stalks to teepee my trees. It's an all out war.

I got raccoon problems
They broke into my coop and decapitated one of my prized turkeys and at the chest out of another - they also ate a real nice hen and her three baby chicks
Bastards!!!!

I've trapped 3 so far and driven them miles away .

My wife just told me that 2 of our chickens are gone as well. I wonder what animal rights activists would do in this situation. Because I'm thinking long slow death right now.
