Haven't seen a thread dedicated to this yet so I thought I would get things started. What do you think the rams will do, if anything? I know we are trying to unload Tre'Davious White but are we going to add? Personally, I would like to see a tight end like Evan Engram or David Njoku. Maybe some secondary help.

I think we'll be lucky to get more than a pick deal for White.

I'd love to see them add a couple of players - we have a lot of very young talent after the last two drafts. I'd like to keep the first and third rounders of possible, but honestly even the third should be up for grabs in the right deal.

I'm really curious about the cost of adding Marshon Lattimore and think he could be a real key piece to add to that defense.
Getting ML would be a coup for the Rams -- he might want to go to a more "successful" contender, but he may be CB#2 there.
ML on this team would take our D to top 10 immediately.

We may not end up with him but yeah I have to think the Rams are in the discussions. Because a corner would really take this defense to another level.

Doubt the Saints can afford to trade him. He’ll saddle them with over $30M in dead money next season. His cap hit is $18M in 2025 and $18.5M in 2026, neither guaranteed. We could probably make that work but I don’t think the Saints could handle the dead money. The Chiefs are after him too.

I'm highly skeptical we're getting anywhere near the Super Bowl this year. So I'd trade White if he has a suitor and then stand pat. Only exception would be if there's a competent ILB available for very little draft compensation.

They have been dancing with the cap for a decade or longer. They're GM is good at that game they'll be over the cap prior to the year but always find a way. Hell right now it shows them being $61 million over the cap.

The 2025 Projected Salary Cap Space is hysterical.

There are four teams that are projected to have more than $100M of cap space to open the 2025 Off-season.

There are three teams currently projected to be OVER the salary cap at the start of the 2025 Off-season. Depending upon the site (OTC or Spotrac), the New Orleans Saints are currently projected to be about $70M OVER the cap. $70M!!!

The Saints Owner must be kicking himself. If he is shelling out that kind of money to put nothing but ass on display, he should be invested in strip clubs.

I believe Tom Benson's widow (Gayle) has been the Owner and CEO since his death several years ago. However, that's not a deal-breaker for Mrs. Benson ... she could invest in a Magic Mike's type club. Did you know @Loyal put himself through college dancing in just such a club? I believe his stage name was Buck Naked.

I don't think this team is good enough to go all in, I'd avoid rentals if they require any assets of real value, a young player at a position of need, I'd be all over that, if he can contribute now and in the future, another Jalen Ramsey type trade even I would not be opposed to, an elite player at a prime position is something I'd be fine giving big draft capital up for.

Klein said Mcvay already mentioned not being acting tomorrow for what it's worth.

Do the 7th for a 6th round pick swap to dump White and be done with it. With the way we've been drafting lately I'm good with standing pat. There's no one out there in the rumor mill who really blows my skirt up that I think would make a difference.

If its for a guy that still has 3 or 4 good years left and is not a pending FA, I could see them doing that. Obviously the value has to match, but a top caliber CB would make sense. Win now, as in 24', 25', & 26', while Stafford is still here.
