Todd hasn’t been right since the lions game is it really that surprising that our offense has struggled without the threat of the run game our deep passing game is predicated off play action Todd is hurting hence less use and effectiveness

It doesn’t take a genius to notice it hence the bears and the eagles playing two deep safeties and stifling the pass game

How would we know.

He's hardly part of the game plan LOL.
You don't get to be 2nd in rushing by not being a part of the plan. I understand you would have run Gurley 35 times and passed 35 times, but sometimes you have to take what's given to you. Operative word being "take".

When there is no threat of the Run play action doesn't work girly needs to run more than 11 or 12 times per game.

McVay is calling plays like he is down by 30 points and still getting cute in the red zone

Well, now that Kingsbury has taken the USC job, McVay is probably looking for the next best thing as a consultant. Keep your phone charged and close by!

That's nothing remotely like what I meant or what I said.

So nevermind.
Well no shit. I’m simply giving you a comparison. Spagnuolo won 10 games in 3 years. McVay topped that his first year. So while his play calling may not be 100% perfect every game, he’s certainly earned the latitude to design this offense as he sees fit. Even if we, as genius play callers ourselves, don’t agree with his methods.

I remember some debate a while back over who the Rams could least afford to lose. Most of us thought is was Goff. But I'm starting to see what happens without Gurley. Goff might be the carburetor that keeps the machine running smoothly when he's right. But Gurley's the piston that runs the machine. A machine doesn't run without pistons.

Well, you could run on one less cylinder for a while (less a rushing game?) ... or you could take apart the motor and replace that piston.

But a piston is a piston, it either will work or won't with your crankshaft, with the right fit, the only variation would be a weight difference, which is really a balance issue, and then whether or not the replacement piston will stand up to the pressure like the old did/didn't. So was Malcom Brown a heavier piston with the same fitment that caused a timing issue with the engine swapped in and out with varying degrees of success until it broke due to being run at an RPM and heat that it wasn't specified for?

But what if Todd Gurley were instead a carburetor, could you replace his brand with the other carburetors you had on hand to fit your intake manifold, giving such noticeable performance variations even after properly adjusting the jet(alternative offensive game plan) for your motor?

I mean, it is possible to run poorly less a cylinder (empty backfield) but without a working carburetor, all of your cylinders are kind of messed up. Now I'm confused

What about a flywheel? Could running backs be flywheels that work with performance variation dependent on the clutch they are mated with? I mean if the clutch was the offensive line.

This guy got hurt in the KC game, it was obvious when his snaps were limited. He hasn't been the same since.

Adan Schein said he'd consider sitting Gurley out until the playoffs, and it might not be a bad call

Damn, your grumpy after a loss. LOL. Me too.

I believe McVay is the engine and Goff, Gurley, WRs & TEs are all fuel injectors. This isn't your daddy's car. lol

We need those injectors cleaned ASAP!
