Bryce Young...5'10, 205lbs....C.J. Stroud 6'3 220lbs...Like when I used to give shit to my military friends, Hey I know what your girl friend tells you, but last night, she shared with me, size does matter.

I still don't believe Young is 5'10" or 205 but anyway, him and Kyler Murray not doing any short QBs any favors coming out of college. That pick is going to haunt the Panthers. Not that I don't think Young can be a decent QB if the Panthers can getter better around him but damn Stroud is just impressive as hell.

Bears on prime time 4x in 8 week span. On what planet did anyone expect that the Bears were going to be a desired watch? Other than maybe punishment for losing a bet
I guess like some fantasy football managers, they bought into the Justin Fields hype.

Yeah - they just took them off the Sunday Night game. - wtf!!

The Bears defense is very disappointing & the HC needs to get FIRED!!
I still believe that Jim Harbaugh is a distinct possibility here and I believe if they hire him, he have total autonomy.

Young's a great kid but like I said during that draft you can get game manager types outside of pick 1 and well into every draft. His size is going to limit him. NFL is hard enough when you can actually see over your linemen.

Funny thing is Carolina will be picking again up high, what will they do. If they pass on some of these QBs who will be on the board they might end up kicking themselves. Should make for some good draft drama.

The Bears have Carolina’s first round pick.

From a Bears fan:
"Just two and a half years ago, the Chicago Bears moved up in the 2021 NFL Draft and selected Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields with the 11th pick. It was one of those moments as a sports fan, and more specifically, a Bears fan, where I actually remember where I was and all of the things I felt at the time. It was elation. It was the feeling of a burden being lifted off the shoulders of the entire fanbase. Fast forward from April 2021 to November 2023, and Fields' record as the starting quarterback of the Chicago Bears is 6-25. "

Would like to see a few plays like that for the rams but obviously arch without stopping ofcourse. I know we use to run that with Tavon alot but those plays do help at times.

Bryce Young doesn’t look great behind that line
An O-Line that includes a high 1st round pick (6th overall), a second rounder and two free agent signings, including former Ram Austin Corbett.

Another example of a team that has invested resources ... draft capital and salary cap space ... trying to up-grade the Offensive Line. It's just tough to do.

You would think adaptation becomes a factor when you don’t have the luxury of an OL where you can stay in the pocket all day and make all your reads. In todays NFL its fast paced and its not always guaranteed the OL is consistent enough to hold an entire game.

I've gotta say, I don't know how you truly evaluate Young in that Carolina offense. The o-line is absolutely awful. He is under constant duress. And his WRs are not getting any separation. Young has not looked great himself. He certainly seems to be trending towards bust status. But man oh man. They are sure not putting him in positions to succeed. It looks even worse than what Bradford was dealing with, save perhaps 1 season.
