Why the F” did The Rams not draft Kittles ?? His is such The Dude.

Talking about JJ & Bosa. Don’t forget about Jones. Both those guys were hurt in 2020.Whitworth got a break. All those Ram Fans that thought Whitworth looked old in 2019 vs 2020.

I still lol at lack of forsite. All fantasy. I guess finishing in 6th every season, makes me think I’m not to smart. Just saying in 2019 Clowney,Jones, & Bosa twice in one season wouldn’t be easy for any LT(team). Then what a season Kittles had in 2018 & 2019. Lossing the last 4 times against the 9ers needs to stop in 2021.

In trying to project out some of the impact of these QBs changing spots the TE position looms large. We saw a huge spike in the number of throws to our TEs when Wolford entered the game and I attribute that to a couple things those being Goff's tendency to read past guys who have a DB near them as well as his dislike of tight window throws.

If my general take on that is correct then Hockenson will probably see a moderate dip in throws his way.

But as it pertains to the Rams we may see some increased value in our TEs, assuming they can haul in the contested throws that are going to be coming their way. That's my hope at least.

Just two Hawkeye Tight ends.. iowa is TE-U. Wish we had both these dudes, or even Noah Fant.

But instead we have Higbee and.. Higbee

Agreed.
According to the clip above, they had better be ready for the no "look" passes. :giggle:

I still think Hopkins will be a stud. But, Hockenson and Kittle are a whole nother level than them.
I think Hopkins compares well with those guys athletically, but that's where it ends.
His blocking and hands were not good.
Like @Merlin , I am hopeful. Very hopeful.
I think we will find out draft day, just how much he has progressed.

Agreed. Kittle and Hockenson are monster blockers. But that's what Kirk Ferentz coaches then up to do at iowa. If you're playing TE at Iowa, you better block.

I don't want to be a naysayer about Hopkins, but the dude didn't even break into the lineup. I consider our TE as middle of the NFL so why couldn't he break through. Fuller broke through and he was a 6th rounder.

Higbee is going to get plenty of targets this season, I suspect he'll do well. His catch percentage ratio is better than Hock and near equal to Kittle. Just might see Higs get his first 1000 yard season if he stays healthy.

Wouldn't that be amazing. Have we even had a 1k yard TE? Can't recall what our yardage record for the position was, only that it was depressing. :ROFLMAO:

Well, the 17'th game can't hurt his chances, and Stafford targeted his two TE's some 120 times last season, roughly the same as Goff, but with Everett gone, he'll be getting the bulk of them in 2021 I imagine.
