Brings up the philosophical question, "Would you rather have a Great RB with an average Offensive Line, or an Average RB with a Great Offensive Line? I would always choose the 2nd. Not saying I am right, just my preference.
This seems to be where the league has been heading, investment across olines up in general.

I don't like high mileage on backs. But first is there a direct correlation with that and injuries? And secondly maybe a guy with mileage is a player who is blessed with good genetics and has high mileage because he can handle it.

Bottom line though is I don't expect a back to play for 15 years. It's a low shelf life position. But if the impact is there with the player it is valuable.
I also don't like high mileage on my vehicles and my woman. Just doesn't seem like they work well after good use.

I'm okay with mileage on women, once I get passed the used part.
Sweet spot is once the engine's broken in, but there's still mileage left on the warranty.

Also once it starts breakin down the best trade-ins are asian.

I'd kill for Luther Burden III. One of my favorite Mizzou players. Imagine him at X (no, I don't think he's merely a slot receiver; he's got speed to burn, physicality, and is a good route runner) and Nacua at Y.

Then you have a decision to make about Kupp. Look, I love Cooper Kupp, but let's be frank: he hasn't been the same, he's another year older, and teams were sniffing around him at the trade deadline. If we got an extra third for Kupp, it could be huge; we could get a swing tackle/replacement for A-Jax if he's tagged or Havenstein when he eventually retires, or a dominant tight end, a stud corner, or a nose tackle like Dontay Corleone.

You are SO Transparent, it's pathetic. You just want the Rams to have a Corleone on the roster ...

Well mine happens to still be hanging in there in spite of the mileage. But I got a lot of friends in the Navy that ended up with lemons and all of them went with asian trade-ins with very low mileage. One of those friends dropped in on me and the missus while on vacation over Thanksgiving and dear God is that new one a souped up sports model. My wife was quite irritated, as she loved his old driver.
