No, the Cards are not at their best right now. It is a divisional game and that is always important for bragging rights and it has tie breaker implications in the NFC West. However, the next HUGE hurdle is being a winning team. How many years have we longed for this? How long has the team and the whole organization yearned for this? The chant has been for more than a decade, "let's get to .500." We did that.

That's why this game just can't be a trap game for us, it means too much.

There will also be a little poetic justice with the Rams getting their 9th win against Arians. The very man who said we are always 8-8.

It is also big because seattle is playing philly and will most likely lose, a Rams win will extend their lead in the division. Then the seattle game could clinch division and end seatles playoff dream.

This. If Seattle loses tomorrow, and we beat them, we only need one more win and the division is ours. If we beat Philly as well then a win in Seattle clinches.

Honestly, I don't think we'll have nearly as many losses due to trap games with the new coaching staff. The whole mood around the team is different now. No longer is their identity in the dumpster. Instead, the whole persona of this time is that of well prepared winners. A bright sun has finally embraced the Rams.

Trap game? This is a divisional game! These are by far the most important six games on the schedule, every year. Add in the fact that we blew the cards out in London and (again) took their starting QB out for the year.. they're going to be ready to fight today.

But I think we will be, too.

So true. I can't even remember the last time a game this deep in the season meant so much. I feel like every week I'm thinking "This is the biggest game of the season" especially with the NFC being so tight. Having said that....this really is the biggest game of the season. Especially if Philly can get the victory over the Seahawks.

So pumped for this game, I'm already full of adrenaline and I haven't even had breakfast :D

Actually, that is a ton! of poetic justice! Bruce Arians, you sure know how to motivate our boys!!! We'll even personally send both Johnny Hekker and Greg the Leg to officially kick you in the nuts with their bionic legs to cement the first victorious season in over a decade!

That was honestly a compliment under Fisher because we couldn't actually get to 8-8.
Seriously. I laughed so hard when everyone hear got so mad when he said that. He actually gave us more credit than we deserved.

I don't think this game is as huge as next weeks or the the week after.
But even if we split the games with the Seahawks and tie W/L they would win the division due to division record.
So it's kind of important. We need to win though.

Feels like the last couple games have needed to be "statment games ".

Rams are still not getting the respect they need . We need a big win here and momentum going into next week .

I think Reynolds kupp and tavon step up today, Peterson will shadow Sammy for most of the game .

The Rams were more 4-12 than 8-8.The 2006 St. Louis Rams (8-8) This was the Rams last non-losing season record as the team would go on a 10-season losing record streak.
