This ultimately won't change anything because those who don't like Britt still won't like Britt and this incident will still validate their feelings towards him. I'm not defending him. It makes me so mad, I like Britt. Thought he was really underrated here and that he was in the process of putting it together, but then he does shit like this and takes him back to square one and why he's always tossed away in the middle of almost working out.

He's just not mentally mature enough, it's always going to be somebody else's fault. It's always some conspiracy. I'm going to bristle at Hayes being included. Technically, yes, he was among the first to go. That was more because of scheme fit. Hayes always seemed like a guy who worked his ass off and tried to be a leader on and off the field. I still remember when Cook smacked Davis's hand away on the sideline, Hayes was the first guy to get in Cook's face about his bullshit behavior.

I have nothing but respect for Hayes, but he just didn't fit the new scheme. We couldn't keep him with his salary in a scheme he didn't fit.
