So the strongest part of our team had zero impact but it's all on the QB?

How did Gurley do today?

Did you see how many defenders were around him every time he touched the ball? A lot of times he turned a 3 yard loss into a 2 yard gain. He is the shining light of the team. Unlike the starting Qb who wouldn't throw the ball 5 yards down the field.

.

.

I can't believe how many people still want Keenam to start. Nothing has changed with him as the Qb. Same fisherball passes a couple of yards in front of the line of scrimmage.

Goff cannot be worse. The Rams scored zero fucking points. Zero. And never looked like scoring or making it into the oppositions redzone. Let him in there and take his lumps. This season is over for me. They're not going anywhere with case as the Qb. Goff can at least throw the ball down the field and open the field up a little.

Also, can fisher just fucking go already. I've never seen a hc so smug after so many losing seasons in a row. He's done all he can. Let a real hc with some imagination come in now and do something with this team.

.

I can't help but draw comparisons from Fisher's Rams to Mike Singletary's 49ers. We have the talent (Donald, Gurley, Austin, Quinn, Ogletree, Johnson, Goff, etc.) to be be an annual playoff team and even Super Bowl contender, but we have a 20th century coach with outdated philosophies holding us back.

There is zero accountability in this organization. Our O does poorly? Fire the OC, onto the next. How many OCs do we need to go through before we realize the common denominator? One 7-9 season or even two may be an anomaly, but 4? What coach in the modern era of football has made it to their 5th year without making the playoffs or cracking .500 once?

How many times has Fisher told us that the penalties would be fixed? This is HIS team, every guy here is HIS either because he signed them or extended them. No QB excuses or injuries. This is a production based business and the fact is we are not performing to our potential and we won't until we get a new leader who demands more of his men and holds the accountable.

A Bruce Arias could have taken the 2012 Rams to the playoffs. This years squad could challenge for a SB title under him. Coaching isn't everything, but when you lack a great leader you're toast.

I've been saying the same thing about this Rams team for over a year. I think the comparisons between this Rams team and the Singletary 9ers is STRIKING. The good news is that with one HC change, they became one of the best teams in football.

I think we're there, all. And after watching the Lions and Stafford look better than he's looked in a while AND the Lions had a legit run game!!!, well I'm gonna keep pounding the table for Good OL' Jim Bob Cooter. If he can improve Stafford that much in one off-season, I think he's the guy to develop Goff.

Gurley broke 7 tackles but still ended up with pathetic figures. Sums up how much he was hit in the backfield.

It's just one game, albeit a pathetic one. There is plenty of time to turn this around and achieve mediocrity.

My last post and I'm on to Seattle

That was the ugliest football game I have watched in my 37 years of fandom. I dreaded turning on my phone this morning knowing I was going to be inundated with messages. Its still off

I'm done now

Lets kick the Seahawks ass, cause right now they, along with the rest of the league, are laughing their asses off

Garbage. Just garbage. All I ask is for an offense that looks like it understands that the goal is to move the ball forward until you reach the endzone.

Need a qb with the experience and guts who tells the coaching staff to frack off, I'm calling this game from here on.

I did not see how we improved from last year, but last night was a shattering experience.

Also, any player on this miserable penalty filled team that "showboats" after properly doing their job on a play is going to enjoy some time on the bench.

We can get shut out and embarrassed in front of the nation without those silly and juvenile antics.

Five years of a "rebuild" and this is what you get? But honestly, what did you expect? We put the same offense on field that we ended last year with. Same OL, WR, TE, RB and QB. That offense was 32nd in the league. The Rams got worse this off-season on defense, and didn't change a thing on offense. Right now, this team would be lucky to squeeze out 3 wins this year. It's a good thing they didn't do anything drastic to ruin there draft next year...oh...wait. Well, at least we can look forward to the rams inevitably drafting an athletic cornerback with potential (probably from Auburn) in the 2nd round.

I thought this was going to be a 5-11 year, I knew they where bad, but this is beyond bad. Nothing has changed, poor offense, lack of discipline, penalties. Fishers press conference is the same after every thrashing, he compliments the other teams player, coaches, and game plan. Then he said "we have work to do". Why not fire him now? How could they play any worse? Does Stan really just not care?

I miss St. Louis. I don't even have a radio station to stream for therapy anymore.

I made myself watch until the bitter.... BITTER end. That is my punishment for thinking this team had potential. What really strikes me is how immature the team seems to be. They come off as clownish wannabe thugs. Very embarrassed to call myself a Rams fan today.
