it wasn't. His eyes were open wider than a barnyard owl.
I know but it didn't look like he saw the ball . I think if Goff threw it he would've caught it . Lol

I have to be honest. I was so sleep deprived this week, I passed out just before the game . . . only to wake up to another loss. Other than seeing the obligatory highlights it looks like I didn't miss much.

Last season, Fish pulled the chain on Foles after the first eight games. Let's see if he will do the same to Case now.

Score was 13-10. An easy TD to Quick and we're up 17-13. Our young team will learn. But will it learn with fish is yet to be determined.

You're here. That's all I need.

And this ashtray.

Oh, and the paddleball game. The ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need... And this remote control. - The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need... And these matches. - The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control, and the paddle ball... And this lamp. - The ashtray, this paddle game, and the remote control, and the lamp, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one.

Can't get this stuff past me, dude.

Everything would be wonderful if the Rams would just hire someone to teach the players the plays and how not to commit stupid penalties. Other teams have those guys and pay them a lot of money to tell the other coaches how to do their jobs.
They could call the position head coach or something like that.

Hey, just between us delusional homers, I have a theory.

I think Fisher has boxed himself in a corner with Goff now.
If he plays Goff next week and he lights it up, then people will verbally execute him for not doing it sooner.
If he plays Goff next week and he tanks, then people will verbally execute him for forfeiting all those draft picks to get him.
His best (and maybe only) move is to let him sit the rest of the year.

I think there is a 3rd choice....Fisher does not give a bleep what fans in a vent thread think and starts him anyway.

Did you see Goff react on the sideline? He's into it

I liked that

My vote goes to Tom Clements, but you'll never get him away from Green Bay (I don't think).

Gotta hand it to you @-X-. You stay pretty even, you could probably stand next to JF on the sidelines and mimic him perfectly(y)

JF is certainly consistent. So much so that the fanbase is consistent as well.

This thread and the vent thread look the same every week, just change the date at the top:argue:

Oh well, D played great again, JH bombed some more punts.

Looking forward to the game when all three phases of the team play well:yay:

The good news is, the New Jersey Jets offense is as comically inept as we are so we have a chance to win next week

Not to ruin your thread and maybe this is for another thread topic, but I want to ask a couple honest questions. If you think this is true, do you honestly think he will be extended beyond this season? Second, do you think he is losing the locker room?

On another note... defense played very well today and both Donald and Barron were lights out. Unfortunate, but it's been the broken record way too many times.

Sadly, I think you're correct. Although if they're say 4 & 9 by game 14, he might bring him out to get some exposure to his divisional opponents, Fisher has long had a fixation on winning within his division, for all the good it has done.

Gotta be, m'man.
I played life the other way, and it got me nowhere.
Well, except arrested a few times. It did get me that.

I know he's been gone for some time, but I still think the fire in Jon Gruden is what this team needs to wake them up.

No, I don't think he should be extended. I don't know if people are aware of this or not, but I'm not a 'defend Fisher at all costs' kinda guy. I think that if this team doesn't win at least 9 games this year, that we should try something else. I just REALLY take the culture of this forum seriously. I don't see any reason to make this board like every other Rams board out there right now. We're unique for a reason. It's more fun here. I want this place to remain a fun place to hang out.

No, I don't think he's lost the locker room. We know what that looks like. Remember Linehan? Players are actually taking it upon themselves to rally the troops and demand more out of each other, and that's not something players do when they're turning on the coach or losing hope. I honestly believe that they believe that they're a much better team than they've been showing, and it's frustrating them. But they're not frustrated with the coach, IMO. Because, again, we know what that looks like.

You mean that it's possible to go through life and NOT get arrested?

I guess if you never had any fun it's possible:cheers:

You wouldn't think so, but I hear people do manage to stay out of the Grey Walls Inn.
