I'm not boycotting the olympic games only the Dutch NOC since each country's NOC is responsible for sending an athlete to the Olympics or not. The Olympic committee itself has no say.

I'm making a few excuses... I mean exceptions. I will watch the following no matter what...

The women's volleyball games that have Brazil or the Dominican Republic teams. I reserve the right to add more if I notice quality from other teams.

And I will watch the USA basketball games.

I NEVER watch anything that has judges determine winners though. Not gonna change this time around either.

The mountain biking was superb earlier. Winning in France, whacking the French bloke as you go by him and then getting booed by the frogs as you cross the line. Can't get any better can it?

I will watch female gymnastics when I can only because of Simone.

Mariafe Artacho Del Solar was playing for Australia last night in the sand against our USA girls. USA won... but I couldn't keep my eyes off of this spectacular Australian for some strange reason.

Women's USA rugby team just won Bronze in really striking fashion. Australia took the lead with less than 2 minutes but USA took it all the way with 10 seconds left to win it with the conversion. Pretty cool to watch.

wondering if some of those players are actually women... watched a few matches and was like..WHOA!!

I'm sorry. But this is such bullshit. Half court basketball? Hand ball? BMX??Rhythmic gymnastics? Skateboarding? Break dancing?

This is absurd.

What? No corn hole? No stick pony shows? No competition twister? No beer pong? No belly flop competition?

Un-fucking-watchable. And I've tried.

I struggle watching most of it but Olympics aren't all bad.

Rugby is fun to watch.

Simone Biles is a fucking alien or something. I have no idea how she does what she does without shattering her legs and knees. Makes mine hurt just hearing the thud after she launches herself into the stratosphere, spins in mid-air 52 times and then lands like the fucking Hulk. Truly a generational talent and the current goat of her sport.

And then there's the marksman from Turkey that has been the meme king so far for just showing up and owning most of the competition shooting like a normal human being.

Haven’t watched at all. I’ve kinda lost interest when pro athletes started participating. And I know other countries have always done it but just not the same to me. You know, like the 1980 US Hockey in the Winter Games? That was amazing to watch.
