West Ham's majority owner was on the radio earlier and the the last thing the interviewer asked him was about Wilshere. He replied we didn't require midfielders and that he didn't talk about other teams players. Then he finished by saying "never say never".
I think if he does come, it'll be during the last knockings of the transfer window. It's all well and good Arsenal saying they want £20m for him but we hold all the cards here as he has 1 year left on his contract, his stock is pretty low due to all the injuries he's had and as that report says he wants to stay in London and come to the team he supported as a boy. If we sit tight I think we can get a good deal for him. He knows that and so do we.
