Loved the finale.

I don't know who has seen it so I won't spoil anything. But if some of these actors don't walk away with Emmy Awards this year they should just shut down the ceremony.

It was pretty awesome. Not very realistic from a courtroom perspective - but I'll take entertaining over real any day.

It was a great show but I needed a tad bit more closure from the finale. I'm sure that was by some artistic design though so it is what it was.

I had a similar feeling - but then figured that's what they were going for .... Real life doesn't generally get closure either.

Yes--I think they were going to give you as much closure as you were going to get. Nothing is 100 percent certain in life.

Guilt? Innocence? Our justice system is filled with uncertainty. "Reasonable Doubt". A hung jury.

We don't always know for sure. Sometimes a killer goes free and sometimes an innocent man hangs.

Just like life. What will tomorrow bring? Or the next day? None of us really know or ever have that sort of "ending" to our story. That only ends when we die, and then the questions of the events and people left in our life's wake are for others to interpret and decide.

Ultimately the story was more about an event like this--the whole process and system and its effects on people's lives.

I don't know that I've really seen that story told so well before.

Thought it was awesome. Feared a terrible ending, a la The Sopranos or True Detective, but thought it was great
And was surprised it was a 2 hour finale and that they didn't spread it out over 2 weeks

Thats the beauty of HBO - there is no financial incentive for them to do so.

Sure there was, if there were 2 episodes left vs 1, the series would end in September, not August....
Those month to month folks would have something to say about that

They wouldn't have put it on a Holiday weekend on a Sunday night anyway - but I see your point - I suppose there are some people out there who buy HBO month to month
