Very good article! Love my Hekker! Dudes a beast!

It’s a shame a lot of my Rams bros don’t realize the history that Johnny Hekker is making right now in the history books that will more than likely not be broken for a long time Past your deaths and Beyond!

Yet you’ll still claim Ray Guy is the best punter ever for nastalga reasons. Smh.

I honesty got a little choked up reading that.

We may have two HoF players on this team... Aaron Donald and Johnny Hekker.

And that’s no diss on who Gurley is or who Goff looks to be.

I’m trying to celebrate every moment.

..........The importance of that statistic was amplified during the off-season when the Rams’ analytics department reviewed every N.F.L. game from 2016 and calculated the likelihood of a team’s scoring relative to where its drive began. Starting between its 20- and 29-yard lines, a team scored 32 percent of the time. But when it started between its 15 and 19, it scored 28.7 percent of the time, a rate that plunged to 23.3 percent between the 10 and 14.

According to the sports data service Sportradar, since the beginning of 2016, Hekker has hit a league-high 52.8 percent of his punts inside the 20.........

Interesting numbers. JH is the best at getting inside the 20 and lower. Those numbers are significant. Nice undrafted Snead signing that I forget about.

Our special teams is best in the league, and Hekker is the main reason why. The kicks he makes are unreal.

Evenly matched teams regularly end up in a contest of trading field position, and the team that wins an advantage has a better chance a winning the game, or even beating a better team.

Make no mistake, in the course of a game, Johnny Hekker's elite punting gives the Rams a HUGE advantage and has decided games in the Rams favor more than a few times.

Hecker, is in fact, one of the Rams most valuable players.

I wish we could use gifs in our signatures still. Would add this in a heartbeat!!! Hekker is a fkn beast!!!

Have been saying for years that he has been the most consistent and best Ram since 2012. Going into 2017, Hekker has been instrumental in several of the few Rams wins over that time span.

Read the article this morning and the #s are mind blowing. He is revolutionizing the position.

I grew up watching Ray Guy.
Hekker is better.

That punt the article mentions (last season vs the Jets), Hekker punts the ball from his own 15 and the Jets returner backs up and catches it at his 5. That's 85 yds in the air!

Has there ever been a longer punt?

Lol Google slacking.

The gif was from the article he linked. At the very beginning under the header and before column.
lol oh shit.
Guess I should read these things, eh?

TBF, when someone describes it as "really long", I tend to wait for the Cliff Notes from y'all.

I usually just skim over long articles, since they are usually more or less the same as others, but this one was quite good and worth the time to read. No way to condense it. Worth the time to read.
