Again. Resorting to making this poll about me as opposed to the donut.

Wow! I really don't need to campaign if my opponent continues to demonstrate his delusional thoughts. Muck raking? If Mr. X wants to insist that he is General Mapleton I suppose we ought to just let him so he doesn't hurt himself.
Maybe we can eventually get back on topic - eh Mr. Mapleton? Or whatever X stands for.

My esteemed voters: It has been eschewed by my opponent that there is no such thing as a Lemon Jelly Filled Donut. He has gone so far at one point to accuse me of being un-American in his zeal to be right about his key platform in this election. All I ask is that you consider what is being discussed here.
In the past, my opponent has even had the audacity to question the mere existence of Lemon Jelly. As if something not found in the local Safeway or Kroegers simply doesn't exist. Is a person of such limited scope really someone you want to place your trust in to say "There is no such thing as a lemon filled jelly donut."? A real small sampling of the internet reveals that a great number of people not only know Lemon Jelly exists but seek out and provide recipes for the tasty jelled fruit juice.

Please don't be swayed by my opponent's constant whining about being picked on - or as he calls it - being a victim of muck raking. He can go from victim to thug in no time. You may not know of my opponent's temper but I have endured his "wrath" and will endure it again if I must in order to bring to light the evidence Mr X doesn't want you to know. Last time, this is the kind of abuse I endured in an otherwise civil debate - a debate bye the way that he lost then too:

So being that Mr. "X" has made Jelly donuts a cornerstone of his campaign, you probably (and rightfully so) would assume he knows a great deal about jelly. Well again, I'm sorry but I have to use his own words to demonstrate his true knowledge on the subject.
Does anyone else out there mistake Marmalade for Jelly? How about Meringue? You know, that fluffy white stuff found on top of pies and pastries that is made of egg whites and sugar? Is this someone you want deciding on what constitutes Jelly in a donut?
I have been a professional chef and restaurateur for many years. Clearly I am the more experienced and educated man for the job.
I am Stu Miller and I approve this commercial.

That's a good question, my esteemed constituent. Most fake blood (as depicted above) is made of an edible glucose substance. Similar in texture to lemon filling, but certainly not to be mistaken as something with the same consistency of jelly. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Fake-Blood

Dunkin' Donuts may have dropped the Jelly off the name of their Lemon Jelly Filled donut for whatever reason. Apparently, Winchell's (makers of far superior donuts than those of DD BTW) still believes in keeping the full name.
My opponent insists that I keep trying to disprove a negative. I can only provide you with my qualifications and what other donut specialists call the yummy - though not quite as yummy as the Bavarian Crème filled donut - Lemon JELLY Filled donut.
