I loved all of these movies, which one was your favorite and whether your cried....(lol).

3. Pretty Woman (hell nah!)
4. Casablanca (cried when La Marsellaise was played vs Die Wacht am Rein as an expression of pride while being crushed daily in Vichy held Morocco)

None of hem really got to me. But no matter how many times I've seen it, 'Its a Wonderful Life' chokes me up at the end.

I'm a sucker for tearful reunions too, especially when kids are involved. Those videos of soldiers returning and surprising their kids always get me emotional.

Silence of the Lambs

the chemistry between Dr. Lecter and Clarice starling is dynamic and as the movie progresses the sexual tension becomes almost unbearable to watch. You just know when he calls her at the end of the movie, and she tells him she will never stop looking for him, that they will end up together forever

I remember when the wife dragged me to see Nights in Rodanthe at the theater. All the women were crying when we walked out. I was like "WTF? Just because I talked you into seeing Saving Private Ryan you gotta do this to me?"

Fools Rush In- seeing a young Salma Hayek dance that way in the kitchen did damn near bring a tear to my eye, I just remember saying "daaammmnnn"

On to the topic, 50 First Dates holds a place in my heart most other Romcom can't approach.

When my kids were young, we used to watch Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey repeatedly. That ending...excuse me...got something in my eye.

Awakenings is another that gets to me.

my wife took me to see When a Man Loves a Woman when we were in just the dating stage. what husband would go and watch a movie like that right?

so i sat there and after 5 mins of the movie i was fast asleep. i woke up to see andy garcia crying telling meg ryan how much he loves her. i thought what the fuck? the movie ended. the worst 10 minutes of my life.

naturally my wife loved the movie.

On a serious note... the movie Selena (J.Lo) used to really get to me. I lived in Houston when she was killed. Plus I have a thing for those Latinas. ; )
 
Honestly, I really loved Hocus Pocus. Yes, it's a Halloween movie, but it's seriously funny as all get out (and Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy steal the show as the witches). Oh, and Jason Marsden voices Thackery Binx, who is, hands down, the best black cat character ever.
 
I enjoyed watching the British films Love Actually and Notting Hill with the wife.

I enjoyed High Fidelity with John Cusack too.
