The thing is - a basic rule of prepping is to get stuff you like - and a variety of it. Appetite fatigue sets in pretty quickly if the food you have is the same day after day and isn't stuff you particularly like. While lentils for instance store well - you need to cook them in ways you will actually like. And yes, having nutritious food you like is actually better.
Maybe appetite fatigue sets in for members of the nobility. Us peasants are used to eating the same shit every day. I had about a 5 month run of eating chicken g flavor cup o noodle for lunch every day. I still eat a pancake and sausage on a stick every day for breakfast. When we were really poor, 4 nights a week dinner was rice with cheese and (previously frozen) broccoli.

Appetite fatigue is only a thing of you can afford it to be one.

This shutdown for The Rona enabled me to buy something that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. So I lucked out in this mess.

This fish really isn't available in the trade today because they come from the Red Sea. I've known that a guy I buy fish from has had this fish... it's not a fish that he ever wanted to sell. It was in his personal collection. His business is suffering big time... so he offered it to me last week.

It's a broomtail wrasse. They are one of my all time favorite fish. This one isn't fully mature yet... he's about 9" right now. He'll gain more wild colors as he matures. These fish are super intelligent and they interact with you once they learn to recognize their caretakers. My favorite part about these guys is their eyes. They are like the eyes on those chameleons who can move their eyes in different directions independently. These fish have eyes that bug out of their head just like those lizards, and they can move them in different directions too. Super wild to watch... and you can completely tell that they are watching you back in the same way.

This is a shot of him in the tank he used to live in before he got transferred to me last week. He's got way more room now in my tank and he's adjusting perfectly. Eventually, he'll grow his tail out and it will look like a giant broom.

Purchased a total of six games for my Xbox One: Shadow of Mordor, Shadow of War (I had to sell them to buy food, but I decided to repurchase them with a new Xbox One account; both of them will arrive on my birthday), the first Assassin's Creed (arriving two days before my birthday), and Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed Revelations (which were bought as a digital package that is currently downloading).

My 2000 Toyota Solara with 248,000 miles on it finally bit the dust recently so I bought a 2017 Toyota Camry with 34,000 miles on it. The best part is that the guys at the dealership, which is located 3 hours round trip away, drove the car right over to my house. Shows you how bad the car sales business is doing.

My pride and joy though is an EVH Wolfgang electric guitar with a mango burst which I bought last year. It's the best guitar I've ever owned including the Fender and Gibson ones. Eddie Van Halen knew what he was doing when he designed it.

Hey, Prime. It's so good to see you. I hope you and your family are doing okay.

Very pleased to see you in here.
Sincerely.

Is that worn? Or bought distressed that way?

I really like that look, too. (y)

Bought distressed this way. I normally don't go for an already distressed look, but I really like the design on this one and the look fits well. From the Fanatics shop.

I got one of those when they 1st came out. I remember the commercial made it look much cooler than it really was. Well, maybe it was just me... but I couldn't get it to do some of the wild ass maneuvers I saw it pulling off on that tv commercial.

Still cool though.
