Yeah, it's getting to be an every week thing now for Reggie Bush for his hot take on NFLN. He has predicted a Rams loss vs the Broncos, the 49ers, and the Packers... He's been somewhat of a lone wolf, but not this week. Stephen A. is a jerk, so there is no surprise about him picking a loss. Kay Adams and Kyle Brandt think we lose. Hell, two of you think we'll lose. There are more...

Now that we are getting closer to 16-0, there are many who think there's no way we can sweep. "They gotta lose sometime" is the reasoning. I think the only way the Rams lose, is if McVay holds players out. I hope if he does pull starters, it's only after playing a half.....

NO MORE RUST!

The Saints have a good run defense, but for some reason Schraeger and Nate think Gurley is going to have a huge game against the Saints. They didn't explain why but Pete was almost effusive on the subject.

Because the Saints haven't faced a strong run game or when they do, the team abandons the run for the pass (see Giants and Saints). Giants ran Barkley 10 times at 4.4 yards a clip. Not a bad average, but Eli threw 41 times! When your team can't cover the pass, that's what happens.

The screen game to Gurley. Notice how we haven’t seen it much lately? DMarco Farr and Miles we’re hinting all around this play for the New Orleansgame, and I think Schraeger hinted about it on twitter.

They expect to kill the Saints with it.

I agree.
I also expect NO to use the screen against us.
Interesting match up.

I think he is just playing the numbers game.....eventually Bush will be right.
Or maybe his check hasn't come yet from his knee injury and his V is sore about it.

Hopefully the players adopt an underdog mentality in this game.
Yeah I don't know about all that. While it's good advice to respect your opponent, I'd rather they be of the opinion that the other team has to play out of its mind to be able to beat us. And then ramp up the intensity to the point that they HAVE to play out of their mind to beat us.

Worked for the Eagles to win the superbowl last year.

Not saying it's the only mentality that can win.. I just think it works well at higher levels where everyone has talent.

I expected to kill the Packers with it and was my main gripe with McVay's play calling against them. The man is obviously smarter than me when it comes to football but I was baffled by his play calling against the Packers. But he tends to have a game like that once in a while. He seems to bounce back in a big way the following few games after so I expect a much better plan of attack this week.

I want you to remember a number: 2.8
That's how far Brees' average pass traveled through the air. I have no doubt they will use that game against us. That's why I'm thinking the Rams should start 7 in the box with a single high to prevent the short passes.

2.8 in what context.
Watching New Orleans I find that hard to believe. They do a lot of short stuff but they take deep shots every week.

They are a tough team to defense for the same reason the Rams are.
Load the box and deal with very good receivers singled up.
Play a dime and deal with a running game that can take over a game.
