Just think of this,

Torry Holt has more Receiving yards than these HOF's for a career:
Andre Reed
Steve Largent
Art Monk
Michael Irvin
Calvin Johnson

These HOF's never had more receiving yards in a season than Big Game:
Randy Moss
Michael Irvin
Andre Johnson
Terrell Owens

These HOF's have less TD's than Torry in a career:
Michael Irvin
Art Monk

Absolutely criminal and absurd he isn't in the HOF right now. I'd love to find out the HOF voters that argue against him being in the HOF and write them a stern ass letter.

My guess is the 4 offensive players already in from the GSOT team is a factor. But IMO that will be remediated in the not too distant future.

Just playing "devil's advocate" here.

The "Big Drop" against Carolina, and then smiling/laughing about it afterwards, maybe THAT hurt him?

Maybe that’s affecting you still? I’m pretty positive those shit bags that vote on this don’t remember that game at all outside of Steve Smith ending it.

Let the man in already. I don't buy the "Too many receivers" argument. Or the argument that there is a backlog.

If a man has a HOF career, cast your vote. Who are these elitist writers. Never accomplished a thing.

Great men achieve.
Sad men write about it,
Typically writers are scum bags that write about shit they do half ass research on. Not to mention with their own retarded ass opinion thrown into the mix.

It definitely is affecting me still.

Because the offense he was in and the players he played with… imo best rams wr ever

Isaac Bruce was better imho but Holt is definitely close.
I thought Torry had better receiving hands than Isaac. I remember those one handed behind the back catches he would make during pregame warmups.

That said, Isaac was the better route runner and one of the very best route runners of all time. He was great at changing up his running pace. Scouts used to talk about how Isaac used to terrify DBs as he "glided" off the line of scrimmage because they couldn't tell how fast he was moving. Isaac also possessed that Barry Sanders-esque ability to make 90-degree cuts at full speed to gain instant separation for easy catches. This is one of the things Torru admitted that Isaac could do that he [ie, Torry] could not do. Isaac was often doubled- and triple-teamed before Torry, the Wizard of Az, and Ricky Proehl came aboard the GSOT and made triple-teaming Isaac a very unwise tactic.
