Can everyone comment on the best QB throw they have ever seen?

I only go back to the 70s so that rules out some early greats for me, but . . .

. . . the two that come to mind are recent:

1. Stafford's no look to Kupp over and between 3 guys in SB winning drive vs. Bengals
2. Big Ben to the back corner of the end zone to win SB vs. the Cardinals

I also remember a throw Wilson made vs. the Rams to back corner? of the end zone, scrambling, maybe 3rd and 15 or something? Statcast or whatever said there was something like 5% chance to complete the pass? . . . but it was regular season - incredible throw though.

I'm looking for accuracy/length of throw/game situation obviously helps

What does everyone think? - Best pass ever ?

Staffords throw #1!!

Hate to give props to the Hags. I do remember that Wilson scramble throw and great footwork catch. No way did I think that was good until I saw the replays.

I'd have to disagree on this one, Mem. To me, that play is all about Ike making a great adjustment to an underthrown ball.

I give props to Martz and to Warner for having the guts to be aggressive on that play. But Kearse got to Warner and definitely affected the trajectory of the ball, so Ike had to adjust.

Yeah, one of the greatest plays in Rams history. But if one of the criteria is accuracy of the throw, this wouldn't be the one.

Love the outcome of the play of course, I was going absolutely bananas!
Really both points are true.
Warner had the guts to stand in and take a big hit, while already injured....seeing Kearse coming, knowing the hit was coming and to deliver the ball well enough.
Yes, Ike made a perfectly timed adjustment and the rest is history.
Az Hakim did try to draw a block in the back when Bruce was running but thankfully didn't level his guy.

Wilson was absolutely maddening in that era of his career.
Literally never out of a game and he made crazy circus throws almost weekly at one point.

Stafford look off, side arm pass last year to the sideline was a freak show throw also.
Cant remember who it went to and who it was against.....haha.

Has anyone mentioned the Immaculate Reception?

Edit: I guess that's not really a QB throw.

It's always fun watching the Warren sapp interview about that pass. Talks about how well they defended that play, how the db was in perfect position but that pass was undefendable. The way he explained how the ball just fell into proel's arms. His flabbergastion (yes I know that's not a word) just can't be hidden. No wonder he hated Warner so much.

Good throw, but not a catch. He never got his 2nd foot down.
Looks down to me...

I always thought the same thing. The coverage was there and Proehl had to make an incredible catch.
…but that throw was like a pillow that was dropped from the sky. Probably the greatest throw Warner ever made.

Stabler to Casper ghost to the post is up there as well as his game winner vs Miami falling down. Bradshaw to Stallworth was pretty good.

Another throw from that era would be the Hail Mary Staubach threw to pearson vs the vikes.
