Tampa Bay horrible clock management.

Tampa Bay beat themselves today more than we beat them. Our secondary is garbage and we will not be able to contend until it is sorted out. With that in mind, great we found a way to get a win today. And on the road, which is never easy! Every W we secure before EJ Gaines' return is huge. We just have to hope can be effective and stay healthy once he is back.

Yes interesting strategy.... waste those timeouts... then run 10 yards ahead of line of scrimmage and act like you are going to throw.

oh man I was screaming at him to throw it once I saw him cross the LOS....

illegal forward pass, loss of down, 10 sec run off... game set match

Lol, me too, then once I saw Quinn I wanted him to get the strip and secure the win.

TF are you talking about? We've won two out of three.
Er uh, that's contending.

I consider a contending team one that has a decent to strong chance of going deep in the playoffs. I don't think that description fits the Rams with this secondary group (if EJ Gaines comes back, plays well, and can stay healthy maybe that changes). Especially not with Keenum at QB.

Haven't seen the game, but I'm going to give at least a little credit to Tampa Bay ... Winston is a damn good QB, and they have some stud WR's and an offensive head coach as well.

But yes, the sooner we get a healthy EJ back, the better.

Did okay against the Seahawks who almost dropped a 40 burger today.
But whatever. We suck until proven otherwise. Go team.

any team that makes the play-offs should be considered a contender

remember the wild card 9-7 Giants knocking off the 18-0 Patriots

wow did they waste so much time...

You gotta make sure you get the touchdown instead of worrying how much time is left.

Bless em for doing that though.

Thanks!
Haha. Was thinking the same thing.
2 time outs with 9 seconds left doesn't help. But they used one after an incomplete pass.
They should have used them sooner

I'm about done with Fisher and his teams though.
That game should not have been anywhere near as close as it was.

Eh, he's a rookie coach, he'll learn. Best of luck to the Bucs down the road.

What makes you say that?

Well, how about the pick 6 we threw?
And....the lead we blew.........
Mental mistakes (penalties), dropped passes, Tavon's bonehead kickoff receiving move.....

If all we do is just eliminate MOST not all, just most of the self inflicted mistakes, Rams win this game in a walk.

See but those things happen every week to all 32 NFL teams. I watch alot of football including non-Rams football.
Look at the GSOT in their playoff run? They had to scrape and claw too. It's rarely a cakewalk in the NFL. Both teams want to win and both teams make plays and make mistakes. Sheesh.

Is it too hard for you to conclude that these two teams were pretty evenly matched and it literally came down to the last play?
