Good luck in the series Braves, this Dodgers team seems content to be regular season champs only.

Dodgers need to wake up. I've been defending Kershaw's post season numbers forever, but man it is truly unexplainable how a guy can be so dominant in reg season and so pedestrian in post season

Can't discount past playoff disappointments. People have called him a choker. Kershaw is nowhere near the pitcher he was a few years ago. A few years ago I can see it. But now, if its a case of just not good enough can we really call it a choke job? Maybe in the past, but he's not an elite pitcher anymore. Get him past 5 innings and the wheels tend to come off.

In the end though, aside from the 9th inning in game 2 and the first 3 innings in game 3, the Dodgers hitters have not gotten it done. Last night the Braves were crossing their fingers their pitcher could give them 3 innings. He dominated them for 6 innings. They sure picked a bad time to struggle on the mound and at the plate.

Every year people pick the Dodgers as the best team. Every year I buy into "This is finally our year". From now on I'm not taking the bait when they say the Dodgers are the best team. I'll believe it when I see it.

Jmho Clayton has gone thru injury here and there, at the worst times.

Imho dude gives his all time and time again and if you don't understand he's totally dominant at times, you must have missed some games.

Dude was held out because of his back, yet 1 2 games later,he's out there.

So my thoughts are is he healthy or playing hurt ?

Ok we need to kick the Braves Arse, and get into game 7.

I don't think he's 100 percent. Plus, he's lost velocity the past few years. He's become better at using all his pitches. But when your fastball is no longer mid to upper 90's, its harder to get away with location mistakes. But they can still win with him if the offense doesn't go in the tank. We just can't expect him to be the dominant pitcher he once was.

Bottom line, they were shut down in game 4 by a pitcher who had no business shutting them down. It was a golden opportunity to tie the series. I remember Joe Buck saying they were crossing their fingers hoping he'd give them 3 innings before they had to pull him. Now they're in a position if they get shut down again their season's over. They have to be better if they want to advance.

My mind is still stuck in that Brewers game and how he dominated.

I really like Kershaw, liked Sutton Olsteen etc etc but, Orel is the man.

If it was up to me I would go with Julio Urias, granted Gonsolin has a better ERA, but IMO, Urias has better stuff and I trust stuff in post season plus a Lefty with juice is money in the bank. I expect Kershaw in relieve, but I sure hope the Dodgers have a lead at that point because I do believe the baseball Gods are not on Clayton's side.

Overall, I truly hope the Bums did not get us here, only to break our hearts again. In the movie 42 the only thing I came away with in the great movie was, the Dodgers still lost to the Yankees in the 47 World Series.

It feels like the game is 50/50 - I don't feel as confident as I would be if Walker were pitching today.

We have good pitchers ready to go, but they are young/inexperienced. Overall, I feel like one of either team's pitchers will be off, to the point where the other team will be able to do a lot of damage, and maybe even decide the game. Right now, I don't know who that will be.

I had this nightmare that Roberts was going to put Kenli in to start the ninth.
