It could end up being a good class. So far it looks to be, but its very early to say or not.
Keep in mind how Snead churns the bottom of the roster. It creates openings. Someone posted about how many players in each draft ended staying with the Rams long term. Its like one. They don't sign a lot of their own to second contracts.. I'm guessing its due to being tight against the cap, otherwise I think JJ and possibly Hill would still be Rams.
This creates a lot of opportunity for the new guys. Oline, backup Oline, ilb,olb, safety, Dline, corner. There were holes to be filled all over the place. Are this years picks going to be keepers after four years? The trend says no. Most will become compensation picks for the Rams. I don't always agree with the picks, but I do like the strategy and how they view roster building. (I'm kind of peeved that JJ will only net a fourth round comp pick though, he's worth more than that)
There are a few of the high ceiling guys from this draft that look like they could possibly reach their potential. Like Harris, Rochell and Garrett.
