This wasn’t meant as a vent, idgaf who won but more to post random funny shit.

Just my own opinion, but Buffalo should have been there tonight. Josh Allen QB sneak on 4th and 1 was ruled short. On closer review, the ref that was on the top of the YV screen was facing the ball and he had the Bills making the first down by about half a yard. The ref on the bottom of the screen could not see the ball because Allen had his back to him, and he marked the ball short. The above view looked pretty conclusive (IMO) that the first down was made, even if barely. But of course, the replay wasn't "conclusive" so the refs reviewed it and said the play stands.

The Rams have the Eagles and their fans respect. That says a lot after the total beatdown and worldwide embarrassment of the Chiefs.

Just further proof that “the worst team to ever get a first round bye” didn’t deserve to be there.
Just a bad matchup for the chiefs, their oline has been the weak link all year. Definitely not Mahomes best, he looked a lot like he did against the bucs in the SB, he was harassed into bad throws and bad decisions. I don’t know about deserves though.

Being in Eagle country I was hoping the Chiefs would win so I wouldn't have to hear my obnoxious neighbor brag.

I would have liked to see Josh Sweat get MVP. The defense was the biggest difference in that game. Hurts was a bit ordinary.

The Eagles took the refs out of the game. That made me wonder. Were the Chiefs really the best team in the AFC? They had so many calls go their way all year, playoffs included, because of Mahomes abusing the rules on hitting QBs. Their performance tonight made them look like they didn't belong in that game.

Also, considering the way the Rams beat the Bills, maybe the AFC wasn't really as stacked as most perceived it to be this year. The Lions, Eagles, and Rams, all looked better than the Chiefs.

Brick!!

I was happy there was no 3peat,
Saquon was contained, and
Jalen Carter had a goose egg stat line.

KC had a good run. Two in a row is impressive in any era but particularly nowadays.

Build the defense. Finish it up. With a strong offseason we could end up with an elite unit.

And sure ink Jackson. Draft a couple weapons for the pass game. Just ensure you get a CB and more beef for that DL.

So the Iggles won a SB with a QB drafted in the 2nd round and another SB with a QB drafted in the 3rd round. During their Iggle careers, both QBs replaced a highly drafted 1st round QB (ok, yeah, the same one). In both SBs, the QB won the SB MVP. Both times the Iggles beat a first ballot HOF'er.

It's a copycat League. The Iggles have accomplished stuff without the typical, highly-touted franchise QB. Let's see if any of these NFL GMs try to sell/spin the Iggles success as a template or something.

"You need an elite quarterback to win the Super Bowl!"

Except for when you don't.

Having one sure makes the margin for error bigger though. Eagles have done a phenomenal job building out the rest of that roster. If they had a league average roster and no elite QB they'd be nowhere near the big game. As it is, they have incredible depth and no elite QB and this is the result.
