Just my opinion, but with 1st and 10 at the eagles 15 with a minute left, the Rams had a real shot to win that playoff game. Had we pulled that off, I believe we would have beaten the Lions and then the Chefs.
I hate to be the one to say it but we still would have needed to beat the Commodes...who beat the Lions, BTW.
That wouldn't have been automatic. I don't love that match up for the Rams.

Eagles were just the better team I think. If they had a real coach they would have rolled everyone with those lines they have. They can dominate on both sides and that = championship in any season tbh.
But I agree it sucks hard that the Rams almost beat them. Wife asked me if I wanted to watch it and I was like "naw don't want to be reminded how close we were." One rookie center doing his job on one snap away from knocking those bastids out. Ah well.
Let's build the defense. It's close to a dominating unit now. One more DL and a good CB. On offense a TE and a WR or two with fresh legs.

Thinking out loud here: Andy Reid must not have watched the film on the Ram game very closely. If he did, he would have noticed that you could run on Philly. Then Philly would not have been able to constantly drop 7. It would have also run clock and not given Philly as many possessions. All in all a poor performance and game plan all around. That said Philly still wins the game.

I disagree. Their defense was their weak point. And I think we would have been running Daniels all around. He would have made some plays but in the end, we score over 30 points to win.
Our offense is our weak point. We didn't have many games this year where we scored over 30. The good news is, I think McVay will be determined to fix the offense so that it becomes a top 10 unit.

I hear you. Of course it's not automatic, but I believe at home, with the way the defense was playing and our offense not hindered by weather conditions, we had more than a fair shot. IMO of course.

Gotta remember the only way the Rams were in a position to win was not 1 but 2 missed xps. It would have been an epic comeback but I gotta admit the Rams offense was mid this year - not really deserving of a SB spot. Get a solid swing tackle and and a couple lethal weapons and that should improve. On the flip side the D was incredible except for ILB play. Fix that and improve CB1 we could have top 3 defense.
