I do realize that there is 99.99999% chance that Suh will only be a Ram this season but I think he and AD (And, Brockers!) will wreck HAVOC to opposing offenses this season and I wish I could see the three of them playing together for at least 3 or 4 years! I know it is NOT going to happen but it sure would be nice!!!

If they terrorize defensive lines I could see him getting a 2 year extension
Is Suh, AD, and Brockers going to be playing offense now?

“Experts” were saying how it wasn’t likely that he’d sign with the Rams because they couldn’t give him top dollar. He’s probably made more money than Donald has (or will have) guaranteed, so he may decide that LA is where he wants to stay...

Any extension at this point is likely paying for past performance. At his age with his mileage he's going to be producing diminishing returns. His sack total has already fallen three straight seasons.

He will be 32 in January. I would like to see him game in game out this year and see how much he has left. At this point I also think he gets overpaid on his next contract. After seeing ADs deal I'm pretty sure he wants to cash in again.

We know that business interests Suh and that meeting Stan K helped settle him in LA rather than taking other opportunities.

So, there is a case to be made that he’s invested wisely, has outside business interests and he’s already turned down more money, leaving himself to explore other factors for satisfaction.

Like winning Super Bowls and playing for the Rams.

Like winning Super Bowls and playing for the Rams.

Playing on a contender isn't enough to stop an impending UFA from leveraging his options. He already knows what the Rams have to offer-now they have to offer a contract that meets his expectations.

Suh took notice of the Geno Atkins contract, of this I have no doubt. He's not going to come any cheaper.

OK! So, Some of you are saying that there IS a chance! Wasn’t there a Very Famous/Classic Movie (Dumb and Dumber?) that had a Famous quote something like I have a ONE IN A MILLION CHANCE so I have a CHANCE??? Well, I am sure I butchered that but I will be happy if the Rams at least have a shot at re-signing Suh (But, Much happier if they actually do re-sign him!

Publicity, business opportunities and success on the field may prove to be more valuable that going to the highest bidder next year. I would love to sign Suh for 2 more years at a team friendly price if there is tangible DL success tied to Him this year.

Maybe...we’ll see

If this works out the way we think it should, I wouldn't rule out Suh taking a little less to return next season. I'm not sure what amount he's comfortable with but I think there's a possibility they both sides are amicable to a return. Especially if they dominate this season with him.

If they play great together and win , he will stay. No good team is going to offer suh a big long term deal .

You do realize the Raiders, Browns, and Whiners are out there don't you? lol

Normally the owner doesn't make a huge difference unless they are a really bad owner.

In this case, Suh has sought out guys like Warren Buffet and Stan Kroenke and has been clear he's using football to build his empire.

Access to Kroenke as well as winning could be the two biggest motivators to stay, especially if he gets to liking not being double and triple teamed every play. That wears a body out right quick.
