People forget wtf the pre season is for. To identify uncovered gems and trim the fat.

Glad to see a few players I loved are looking great Desjuan Johnson/ Quindall Johnson and a few I didn’t expect or know of Rivers/Copeland/Tomilson.

I’m over Rochell. Piss poor form and attempt of a tackle on that QB. Look like Barbie has zero grip to.

Quindell Johnson showed some flashes and can tackle - I’d not be sad if he stayed around as a PS player. Same with VanValkenburg

Well stated.
The Rams have about 35 core players which hasn't really changed since the draft, these guys are the backbone of our team, and we haven't seen much of them in pre-season games. McSnead pushed our temporary roster size up to 88 with a huge group of UDFA's and 14 mostly lower round draftees, the remaining guys are last years practice squad and bottom of the depth chart 2'nd & 3'rd year players who perhaps haven't developed as quickly as some would like.
While some fans are freaking out about how many bottom of the barrel players performed together, many of whom have likely played in their final NFL game, others rather expected the results. Out of this huge group, getting our roster to 53 promising players shouldn't be overly difficult. We'll still be very young and have some holes, but once our starters are completely engaged, the Rams will look far better than what we've witnessed this pre-season.

Just because guys weren't one of our draft picks doesn't mean they weren't also rookies.
If you weren't seeing other rookies, you weren't watching for them.

I think Allen should be TE2. I liked McCutcheon hands catch over the middle. Like Vanvalken but fear he might just be a pre-season player.
Rochel just couldn’t do anything right.
And yeah, I’m worried about the K but might still give him a game

Vanvalkenberg looked better than some of the drafted edge rushers.

Quindell and Desjuan show promise can they really be risked going to the PS?

Yes waivers this year should be active for us. Can't wait for the cut downs to start.

Are we so sure Long isn't just being moved from PUP just to be IR'd ?
Either way, the Rams are likely losing 2 TE's to free agency following this season, and I currently see no other viable TE heading to our practice squad. If Denver's TE from pre-season game 3, Albert Okwuegbunam becomes available, I'd certainly put in a claim for him if he's waivered.

I think Long could be put on IR... but I don't think they need 4 with Skow.. and if Davis and Allen are what they hope, they'll be fine next year, imo. Might bring back Higs, who knows?
But I see your point.

I'm not as worried about Bennett like some are here. If Stafford were injured, it's not as if Bennett would be playing with 10 scrubs again like the pre-season, ... he'll be surrounded by true starters.
