SAS polarizes white vs black and widens the racial divide by the way he constantly stereotypes white man as racist. It's sickening.

Stephen A Smith is the antithesis of Martin Luther king jr. SAS judges a man by the color of his skin and not on the merits of his Character. It's ass backwards to what King Jr rightly fought for.

So is he saying that being 30 years old and white makes him unqualified but if he was 30 years old and black than he would be qualified.

I miss him and Bayless together. Makes it easier to avoid the both of them when they're on the same show. Can't believe people watch that stuff.

Stephen A Smith is a twat. Only worse commentators are those two morons FS1 has arguing with each other on every goddamned commercial on FOX... Bayless and Sharpe.

Why are there so many loudmouthed assholes getting airtime in sports broadcasting these days?

People like loudmouth types. People don't care about ideas or content, they like people trying to destroy each other.

Hi I'm SAS, many rearrange my initials due to my professionalism and for what I'm famous for in my two-step approach to my work (which can't be categorized as journalism):
Step1: Take the opposite perspective whenever it can be exploited to generate Google search and SM activity based on what is spewed from the hole not connected to my brain.
Step 2: If step 1 isn't working, switch to race baiting to throw as much gas on the fire and turn all attention to me.

The irony is that mcvay is probably more mature than smith and has better leadership qualities. I wouldn't follow smith into a strip club even if the dances and drinks were free.

Meanwhile, Smith's own network runs a parralel story that highlighst the NFL lauding its diversity program for the progress and recent hires.

good grief man....

What's funny is that when it comes to boxing or basketball, he at least knows those sports.

He knows dickall about football or about being a journalist with respect to football. No football journalist would say that McVay was a nepotistic hire because the SLIGHTEST bit of research would have unveiled that the Rams initially saw his interview as due diligence AND SAID SO IN FRONT OF MCVAY AT HIS PRESS CONFERENCE!!! It wasn't until McVay skated the interview not just here, but also in SF (so much so that they wanted HIS input on GM pairing!) that the Rams trusted all of their feedback and made the leap.

Then the idiot tries to racebait (I'm VERY reticent to use that word, but it applies here) in insinuating that young a African-American coaches don't get these kinds of opportunities...and THEN NAMES ONE!!!

He ignores or is ignorant of the bonafides given by such people as Marshall Faulk, Wade Philips, Chris Cooley, Desean Jackson, Pierre Garçon, Josh Norman, Jon Gruden, Jay Gruden, Bill Callahan and so many others...

I don't care that some idiot on TV decides to embrace ignorance. That seems to be en vogue these days. What I take issue with is ignorance passing for content.

We've probably got 50 guys on this site who could do a decent analysis of the McVay hire and what it means for this team, this division and the NFL going forward.

I'd almost rather listen to that insane Philly fan who uses the F word every other word than SAS. At least he knows the subject...

I didn't watch the video because I choose to use my expendable brain cells otherwise, but has this guy ever heard of Mike Tomlin? Young, black coach who's had consistent success in this league.

They need to move this clown to 9am like they did the other one.

I'm 28 and I have a team of ten reporting in to me and a budget of several hundred thousand pounds. Age means fuck all.

At 31, I architected the worlds first Mac based render farm, a solution that for a few different business decisions mismanaged by others would have been worth billions.

Plus, in many fields, prodigies are considered done BY thirty if they haven't accomplished something that is worthy of their potential.

Ya know, it's not that people weren't ignorant before, but maybe never before have people considered ignorance an aspiration and something to advertise and promote about oneself.

I don't get it. At. All.

This is a surprise to you? One just recently got elected President of the United States...

I know!

Let's have a show with Stephen A and Michael Bennett....

Call it "Assholes of ESPN"

I can rest easier because we have Smith's endorsement. Thank you Stephan A., Thank You! :puke:

I have zero idea what race has anything to do with this shit. It's dumb and he needs to be called out on it.

As far as McVays age, I'm not as concerned with how old he is as much as his lack of experience. Unlike most here I seem to be one of the only ones that is very concerned with him being the 'HOT' flavor of the year coordinator. I hope my concerns and clobbered by his performance the next few years.
