Yes. The way he finished last year I thought he was poised to be our number 1. Decent speed. Great routes. Great hands. Just a good football player.

Not really Studman's fault that they didnt want to go to him. He got suspended - so the other guys were ahead of him - but I sometimes think screw that - give your most talented guys the best chance to make plays. And thats what Bailey is - one of the most talented WR's on this team.

You won't get anything for Givens. There isn't much value in guys who have a very limited route tree and don't play special teams.

I would go so far as to say that if Quick had remained healthy and kept up his play, I would have let Britt walk and have some combination of Quick and Bailey at X and Z with a smattering of Austin on the outside. With Quick's injury, I think it would be good to sign Britt to a decent contract as a partial insurance. Let Givens go. And we'll be in decent shape. Probably pick up someone in the draft.

Yeah but they can sign a guy that can do what Givens can for cheap. Plus Givens will be a free agent after next season I believe. He never improved after his rookie season.

I think a corps of Quick, Britt, Bailey, and Cook will be lethal next year. A nightmare group to defend against, don't you think?

And I didn't even mention the occasional RB screen or the unexpected pass to Kendricks or Harkey.

I really like our receivers. That being said if we have a shot at Cooper or White I'm drafting them.

With no QB worth picking where we pick, we are in a spot to add blue chip talent. If it's a receiver take it. It's good to finally have a quality team.

That may have had a lot to do with Davis not getting past his first read.
