Stafford throw 60+ balls in his pregame workout and looked great per McVay. Will practice Monday. Just individual drills though, no team stuff yet.

If the offense performs like it did last year WITH Stafford, we will be lucky to win 10 games (IMO). If Jimmy has to go, maybe 8? This team will need a lot of help from it's young, cheap defense (again) to make the playoffs. Just my opinion tho. The offense has just been so inconsistent since 2021.

I think the success revolves around the health of our O line (as usual). Word is "if week 1 were this coming Sunday, Stafford would be playing".....and the odd thing is, when I heard that they also said Alaric is in the same boat. So IF Alaric is ready to go week 1 and our O line is completely healthy, we should start out fast because Stafford, Puka, Adams, Higbee and Kyren are capable of putting up some points. Throw in a young, fast, talented, aggressive defense and the start may be even better than that.

So how long does Stafford have to be sidelined before Garapolo gets the nod to start game one? Surely he needs several days of practice before he can start.
I'd say Stafford needs to be available the week prior to the game. If he doesn't get that week's work then Jimmy goes.

Stafford out on the field pre game throwing balls to wr's.

He's ,Back!!!
"Psych!"

Well, the offense was hobbled by injuries for the first 6-7 weeks with the OL and WR corps being crushed by injury. Then it took time for those injured guys to get back in a groove once they were back. Then consider Higbee missed most of the season and thus the TE position was not fully utilized.

So last year will have little to do with this year if they are mostly healthy.

Man the last 3 off-seasons have all had some sort of injury anxiety before the season even started. Kupp with his hamstring in 2023, half the damn team last year, and now the centerpiece to the offense. Hoping it's just a flare up because he hadn't thrown in 2 months.

I’ve been trying to keep quiet and have patience with this whole situation. But I know the Rams are sneaky and sometimes for lack of a better phrase, full of shit. I knew this was a bigger deal than they were letting on. Taking him off the field altogether and sending up for an epidural? The fuck? I fuckin knew this shit wasn’t normal.

I think there's a chance they're just telling us the technical truth. We've seen Stafford play with broken ribs and everything else. Would he play today if there was a game? Probably. Would he be good? Depends.
