I've had a bad back since a cycling accident in 1973. I've re-injured it again and again. Finally had surgery to partially remove a disk 20 years ago No fusion. But I also know how to treat it. Ice, heat, back exercises, more ice, heat. I have had access to muscle relaxers and pain killers for over 30 years. Not an abuser.....won't take 2 pain killers closer than 7 days apart. And usually by then, the back is already better. Every year I toss the pills (usually between 15 and 20) at the doctors office and he gives me another batch. Back issues suck but they are treatable. I wouldn't want to get tackled by Aaron Donald.........

Well hopefully @Loyal will have a scoop coming at some point for us on this critical issue, since he listens religiously to Kelly's podcast.

As long as he has pants on this time.

Possibly to get an injection? I'm not worried, Stafford is tough as fuck and will be out there throwing dimes when the games count.

i hope the training staff has the problem under control...

i have worked construction for going on 50 years, and my back was a mess through my 20's and 30's...

i had to change the way i worked (framer/ carpenter/ concrete etc) if i do a lot of bending down without bending my knees, my back will stiffen up in no time... and sciatica pain will come on... not to mention the inevitable pinched nerve..

i just deal with it, and avoid the bending over as much as possible, and i go home feeling fine...

i can't say what matthew's issue is, but i would bet his flare-up is caused by some repetitive motion he needs to curtail, if possible...

here's to a speedy recovery...

go rams

.

How can Stafford have any kind of chemistry with Adams if he's not throwing to him in practice or scrimmages?

Or were the otas enough.

I won't be doom and gloom, but McVay cited the elbow injury as a big deal after the fact in 2022. And thus far it feels similar, only now we have a viable backup QB
