THe last time Stafford missed TC time, we had the worst back ups possible. Fucking noodle armed losers.
Now i havealways thought jimmy g was a back up, but he is a back up yuo can win with. So not as worried this time. In fact, because of Jimmy the team can still have great practices and be prepared for the start of the season. Plus the Rams shouldnt have to rush stafford back early, risking re- injury and losing him for long period of time.

I think - as Charles Robinson pointed out - it's interesting that he's note getting treatment and then out on the side of the field going through stuff with the offense and getting mental reps. I think that speaks to how much they're having to deal with this thing... though I'm still somewhat optimistic as it's early in camp and it's been managed in the past.

I'm not worried about Stafford, this only benefits the QBs behind him. Bennett will get more snaps in practice and most if not all the snaps in the preseason games. I dont think Stafford needs to push anything in TC. We all know he will play through almost anything in the regular season.

Somebody mentioned that Staff is still not happy with his contract? Is that right or did I read something wrong?
(Sure hope I'm wrong....)

Just a few thoughts on this;
He's a veteran so he doesn't need camp like newer players.
Maybe this is just a ploy to catch teams off guard.
Maybe Stafford would just rather be getting a back rub then running around on a hot field. :)
He just really needs a couple of series in the opening game to be at his usual pro bowl level.
I don't worry about problems until they are problems.

I'm not losing any sleep over it yet but it has my attention and even though I tried, I cannot dismiss it out of hand. This time of year he should feel the best he going to feel all season so......
god forbid people pay reasonable attention to the glass canon that is this offense

No need to worry about something you cannot change. First thoughts are they are giving him the vet treatment and letting the backups get work. This is Stetson Bennet’s time to show if he can be a solid backup and the Rams probably want to know sooner than later. The thought of Stafford being out for an extended period of time is too much to bear before the season even starts. Let’s check back at the end of August.
