Damn - this looked absolutely effortless.
It is reported at 99mph - but sure doesn't look like it would have been!

Considering the average bloke can only clock around 40-50mph that is impressive.
(yeah, I know a football is a lot bigger - but that is good right there!)

The Rams front office having a little fun with Mathew...

The Rams' X account had a little fun in their estimation for how fast Stafford's heater was.
"Right down the middle," the team's account said in a post. "Clocked at 99 MPH."

Well... Being that he was Kershaw's catcher, I somehow doubt he would have become a pitcher. I suppose maybe - but...

Oh, its possible. My son can pitch really well. Better than all but one of the starters on the team. However, he is the best catcher on the team, and the second option at catcher can't hit at a lick. In his Sr. year, the situation will be even worse. The second string guy will be a freshman who can't hit or catch, unless someone transfers in. Lincoln's throw downs to second have been clocked at 83 mph. His fastball hit 88 in his Sophomore season in travel ball. His high school coach won't pitch him. He says he's too valuable to the team as the catcher. I could see that happening with Stafford.

Sorry for the shameless bragging.
