I mean the reports are that both LV and NY offered him around $100M guaranteed. That’s more than he will get with the Rams over the next 2 seasons, is it not?
Reports arent facts. We dont even know what the Rams are paying him, nor what his base line is.
We dont know that the contract was guaranteed, or how much of it.
Just be glad he's not going any where, why cant that be enough? He doesnt need to be a martyr also

and they were only going to trade him to a team that was willing to pay him. which is why every nfl reporter worth their salt had the Raiders and the Giants as the 2 other finalists. Because those were the teams willing to pay Stafford what he wanted.

It’s obviously very personal with you and Stafford for whatever reason, but the notion that Snead woulda sent him anywhere regardless of Stafford’s wishes is just not grounded in facts or any historical basis in recent NFL history.
Its not personal at all, I just reply to people who converse with me and I correct their false statements.
The agent free to talk to teams was a two fold move, 1) so Stafford's team could ascertain his contract value and 2) what teams would be willing to trade. The contract value was so that the Rams could negotiate a deal, in the event they could not they were aware of what teams would offer in a trade and they could begin negotiating a trade. It was 2 separate things. Fortunately, we dont have to worry about the 2nd part of negotiations because the contract was figured

Bro it’s obviously very personal, you said you held him in the same regard as Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre in terms of being a diva that’s always gotta make it about themselves. That’s an insane comparison that holds no basis in truth. No one that’s ever played or coached Stafford would describe him as that, not even close.

Nah, seems not durable and also disappears too often for me.
Here’s the move….The Bengals let Tee Higgins walk. Maybe he signs with the Rams maybe he doesn’t. The Bengals have another disappointing season next year. Andrew Whitworth, thru LSU ties starts whispering in Burrow’s ear about how sweet it would be for him in LA with a coach like McVay and an aggressive owner and GM who aren’t afraid to pay guys. Stafford wins us a ring, rides off into the sunset via retirement, and Joe Burrow forces his way out of Cincy and lands with McVay and Snead and the trains just keep on rolling.

I’m taking this personal! Does this mean my pre-combine mock draft was wrong??

It's a great day but we have plenty of work to do before we're back in Superbowl contender talk imo.
Remember, Rams were just one play away from beating the best team in football (Philly) last year.

I think the Rams are perfectly set up for a serious SB run in 2025 (and likely 2026 as well).

Rams only had two "must sign" guys-- Stafford and AJ-- and they wrapped them both up today.

Rams free agent losses will be much less significant than usual this year. Hurts to see Kupp probably go, but he was a second or third WR at best at this point.

Other FA's include Tutu, Hoecht, D Robinson, Jimmy G, BB, Rozeboom, and a few other guys... but these guys are all replaceable. And we'll re-sign a few, too.

Rams absolutely KILLED IT in the draft in BOTH 2023 and 2024. They have a ton of key young starters playing at low contracts for the next two years at least, and these young guys are only gonna get better.

As long as Rams are reasonably solid in both free agency and in the upcoming draft, I think Rams are absolutely among a select few favorites to win it all this year.

I'm happy with this signing!!!!

Now let's get some receivers around him!!! (coughLutherBurdenIIIcough)
