At least I feel somewhat validated for drafting Michel in my fantasy league. Not that it matters since I finished 11th.

He really is something. Blue collar stud. Best of all is it seems like McVay is valuing him now. :fire1:

Except when he doesn't..

From "The Pile"

"After Michel scored a touchdown with a goal-line run on the Rams’ first drive and at that point was averaging about six yards per carry, it was puzzling to see the offense then move away from running the ball in the red zone. On the drives resulting in first-half field goals, the Rams passed six consecutive times from within the 20-yard-line."

That's the kind of stuff that drives me batty.

If my suspicions are correct, McVay underutilized Michel so he can keep his legs fresh heading towards the playoffs and kept churning Henderson's legs to subvert Michel "not being ready yet". I'm sure Michel would've made a significant impact in turning some of those losses into wins but at the expense of tiring him out late season. Gurley's late season injury/fatigue in 2018 must've been a hard lesson on McVay by carefully wearing down his RBs.

Hoping Akers is ready as advertised, having a two-headed monster will make the run game and play action lethal with those two.

I thought Gurly was injured early in the 2018 season against the Oakland Raiders-- reaggravated later.

I seem to remember that Sony was less than thrilled about being being traded to the Rams initially. Reason - he was hoping to sign a nice fat contract with the Pats. I'll admit to knowing zilch about Michel - in large part due to his being a Patsy player. I have long been a "detractor" of Billy Bellyache since the Super Bowl loss back in the days of Billy B's clandestine filming of Rams' practices prior to the Super Bowl back in 2001 ( I think that was the year). Oh yes Billy B. was whacked with a fine ... R.Kraft (aka Billy B.) managed to iron out that wrinkle likely with an influx of cash.

I could be wrong regarding the year as I confess to celebrating the Rams win today with a robust measure of Holiday spirits. Whatever! .. I am really stoked we landed Michel. I hope he feels appreciated at this point and realizes that his chances of winning a Championship are not diminished having been traded to the Rams. I am now a dyed in the wool member of his Ram Fan Club !! Maybe Sony will be amenable to sticking around for a whild

I appreciate him.
Started him in my fantasy playoffs.
Made me look at my playoff match up.

Lost because I started Can Jefferson.wtf was I thinking. He absolutely looked lost out there today. He has some good games, but then Stafford stops trusting him for it.

On that deep INT he got up and started pointing all mad.C CD an was matched up against Antonio Brown.
SONY matched against Carter from the Jets. Nice win for Sony.

HENDO has sort of disappeared ? Funk had a run right after a big play to move the chains that basically secured The Eams Victory.

Hell of a trade. Hell of a RB.
He is a patient runner that generates positive yards.

Oh yeh - Les Snead & Mcvay played that trade to perfection.

I was rumored Sony was going to The Rams mid/beginning of the preseason. I believe Hendo was hurt. Jones & Funk were battling it out.Calis got hurt early who was going to be The Rams KR guy(PR? U have to ask BubbaRam).

Anyway once Jones went down Les Snead went right to work. Honestly I was cheering the Pats RB.There was a game against Washington Team & these RB had to late TD’s. An 80 yard run the last 4 minutes of the game. Had at least another before that.

Like Mcvay knows & fantasy Owners Sony was excellent when he came off the IL to help beat The Rams 2018.

The Kool(aide) thing is he was Gurleys back up at Georgia. Then we can add Floyd & Stafford to the Schools Alumni’s list which speaks volumes to such quality of players they roll out.

The year season was wrong & like I posted to add insult for your Pats love beat the Rams agains in 2018 with Sony.Maybe that memory disappeared as well.

Look forward to what Cam Akers & HENDO look like to finish a SuperBowl victory. Also how many quality COMP PIcks Will Les Snead get ?

I think Hendo got nicked up. The defender had one of those tackles where the runner's leg gets caught under the guy pulling him down from behind. It looked like he landed on Hendo's ankle.

It cost the Seahawks a SB. Then it cost the Harbaug led 9ers the SB. Both on their last drives, got to the goal line running the ball and went to the pass to not score a point and lost the games. 9ers 4 straight passes. Seahawks one that became an interception.
When the other team can't stop something you do it till they do.

I wouldn't mind a PA pass on 1st down inside the 10, but going empty out of the gate, is not taking advantage of the situation you have created by running the ball.
