Which player has most exceeded your ‘17 preseason expectations?

  • Jared Goff. Night and day improvement over ‘16, huh?

  • Todd Gurley. Another dramatic improvement, even some MVP whispers.

  • Robert Woods. I expected a solid and steady #2 for Goff, but not a freaking beast!

Lots of guys have exceeded my preseason expectations. Maybe a dozen or more.

But I just listed the biggest (I think).

Very, very tough call. But I have to say that it’s Robert Woods for me. I expected him to be a valuable part of this O and a safety net for Goff.

But, dang! Woods has been a beast!

Wasnt expecting much to be honest. He has really balling at the moment

I expected improvement from Goff, just not this much this quick. Woods has always been a solid route runner, he's a blessing, but in combination with our upgraded OL, his other brother receivers and Goff, I predict they will all be quite successful for a very long time.

Goff. The last preseason game he played was ugly. Didnt think mentally he could take a failed rookie season and then flop in the preseason. Proved me wrong. Now i want his babies.

Robert Woods. I had no idea how he would fit in this offense with Watkins, Kupp, Austin, Everett, etc. I thought he was expendable. Man was I 110% wrong.

Yeah I'm going to have to go with Jamon Brown as well. Out of every position I was worried about his the most in the preseason. Then I'd have to got with Woods.

I expected Goff and Gurley to tear it up so not to much of a surprise to me.

I really wasn't expecting the line to look this good and I was nervous about an over-the-hill Whitworth. So I gotta give it to Whitworth.

So far I'm the only one that picked Gurley.

Goff is on pace for what I expected although the quick offense and play calling was a surprise.
I thought Woods would be Goff's #1 target. I liked his signing and thought he would jump to the next level.

Gurley had some problems last year and some thought he lost a step this year. Now, Gurley is a duel threat running and catching the ball. Being able to add the pass catching ability has made Gurley a threat on every play. Scoring 10 TDs has also been great.

This is what I felt Goff was and he's only going to get better. But I'd have to agree with some others in that the right side of the OLine has really solidified itself. Most of Clowney's insanity came against TE and WR's blocking him. Brown and Big Rob have done very well considering how everybody wanted to trade them and get new starters by Week 2 of the preseason.

Robert Woods is the closest comparison to Isaac Bruce on this squad. Still waiting for Sammy to truly sync with the Golden Arm. Of course, once opposing defenses start swinging coverage to stop Robert, Sammy might just take off then.

Jamon Brown and it ain't close.
I didn't think he was a starter. In all honestly I didn't think he would last in the league and would have to be replaced after this year.
He is probably the weakest part of the line at this point but dude is making some nice plays.
Had several really nice blocks on Sunday in the run game. Massive, massive improvement.
