and for the record.... not sure about your house, but in mine we do not surprise the other by purchasing a $90,000 gift - Checvy truck, or not!! :zany1:

The explanation wasn’t all that great either.

He said the center has to pause but he didn’t cite any rule.

I guess they just applied this rule

ARTICLE 6. COMPLETE STOP. All offensive players are required to come to a complete stop and be in a set position simultaneously for at least one full second prior to the snap. Failure to do so is an Illegal Shift. (See 7-4-2-Item 6 for such a foul after the two-minute warning of either half).

That appears to be an illegal "shift". I read something about needing to allow the officials to get in position before starting the snap.

Wouldnt count on the Fins making any kind of a post season run with that kind of play
