Today the 49ers clearly look like the best team in the league. But we know how things are in the Not For Long league. A lot of season left. Can they maintain it?

Purdy threw a ball where no one was. He was in the pocket. A defender coming at him. No intentional grounding. Stafford thought Kupp would break outside but he broke in. The ball ended up where no one was. He got flagged. They say refs can't assume intent. I guess elite teams don't get flagged like lesser teams for the same infraction.

Dallas is making our grapes a little less sour. This does not look like a Superbowl contender.

Purdy is not the second coming!

If you notice, no audibles, does not scan the field, follows the play called.

Bot of Shannahan.

Any QB in this league could do this.

The announcers are completely disrespecting the great QBs in history.

Seriously, couldn't have said it better myself.

Brady did it in SB 36 and didn't get flagged on the final drive with less than a minute left. And he didn't move nor was there a receiver that broke the wrong way.

Their rb got tackled inbounds later in that drive and the refs stopped the clock.

Warner got stiff armed to his head leading directly to a pick 6.

Punt returner got speared on the ground after the play was over.

Faulk was monstered out of bounds by at least 3 yards.

Wrs had to adjust their jerseys after every play because their shoulder pads were constantly hanging over them.

Commentators were speechless, as in they knew not to say a word.

Jeez, you should see all the 49ers fans in this town. All kinds of cars driving around with 49er flags. One guy even has his hood and mirrors painted with the 49er logo. Just wait till they do their annual choke job late in the playoffs. All those fans will disappear.

Your lips to God's ears.

I have almost 6,000 posts but I have never posted that.

They are definitely Octobers champions. Interesting how Shanahan keeps feeding CMC the ball even late in games that are already decided. The interesting part is they are usually runs up the gut. Shouldn’t they have a backup that could take that unnecessary pounding. Purdy plays very good but CMC makes him much better. It reminds me a lot of 2018 when the Rams rode the Gurley train until the wheels came off. Gurley was unstoppable and Goff really benefited. The key to the Niners success on offense is still CMC. The same CMC who is being run up the middle on dive plays late in games that were already decided. I thought Shanahan only did that to Trey Lance. Todd Gurley never recovered from 2018.
