Ya & he will only get better inside the friendly confines of Inglewood. I imagine him already out there on the "grass" getting a feel for it. This kid is focused & systematic. Great pick, glad we got him vs. Reichard, Alabama's kickers don't inspire confidence (c.f. "the Kick 6").
But surely he's also experienced with kicking outside games.... just hope he can kick well in January in Levi's stadium...
Just don't "out kick the coverage" kid!!!

Out Kick the coverage.Having better special team players might be a benefit Ethan Evan’s has in 2024 ? He was only a rookie out of a D’2(3) school. To think he was drafted by a NFL team. Then to think he can’t get better & he squats more than any Ram as a kicker is a give& not from hard work which would suggest might have a excellent work ethic to me would be FAR FETCHED!!

You can demeanor Ram Plays all you want.Rosenbloom is a Ram you might say might not get better, but Shula who was The Rams LBer coach & now DC might think different than most Ram Fans. There is a reason The Rams didn’t draft a inside LBer.Not sure why,but seems like when he was interviewed he had confidence in he & Troy Reeder ? Plus #35 who will be in his 3rd season as a Ram.

Drafting one instead of waiting for the undrafted group was a good idea. You want to best college kicker and you want him for four years. He's obviously already got the physical tools. Develop him into a reliable NFL kicker.

That 57 and 58 yarder vs Seattle, plus his overall consistency, reminds me a lot of Legatron. Thankful that we found our kicker. I like our punter too. He may not be top 20 in avg but he's pretty accurate in pinning the other team back.

Folks were upset the Rams let Gay go to Indy on the largest FA deal signed by a kicker.
He may end up being cut as Gay has been completely unreliable in 50+ yard kicks, making only 50%, 11/22 in his 2 years
Karty on the other hand is 6/7 over 50
You have to expect bumps and bruises with any rookie, kicker is no different. Glad they are staying the course with this kid
