Just some of the general attitudes towards sex and race, really. All the lead characters were white, for example. And some of the jokes about women and gay people don't really work so well these days.

Kramer was a classic character at the time but you watch the programme now and he just seems that bit too far-fetched.

Just my opinion. I'm sure plenty of people will disagree.

Well, it's comedy... I could go on a rant about this but instead I'll say this thread was created to share laughs about a show a lot of people loved and dissecting it via a statistical analysis of what it did or didn't have almost 30 years later is so anti-comedy the absurdity of it is funny.

Regarding cast... I watched the show Martin back in the 90s and found it funny and didn't care all the lead characters were not white. Why does this matter?

Kramer was over the top ridiculous on purpose... it's why he was funny.

And yada, yada, yada... I just want comedies to be funny.
