I don’t think the Rams or Seahawks would consider a trade inside the division, especially when they are competing with each other for the NFC West title.

Would you want him though?

I am not interested in the player or the contract.

If we trade, I’d beef up the secondary or potentially where the coaches feel our depth is weakest along the oline.

Gee. Sounds like the Hags want someone’s valued #6 lineman from a deep roster. Why would they be willing to trade such a great weapon?

Shouldn’t that be the question? Why would we want the carcass of Jimmy Graham? Best scenario:

Nobody takes the bait of this arrogant overture from the Hags, It is now out in the open that the Hags want to get rid of him, the locker room is now tainted and awkward as if he walked in there in a dress, wig and lipstick.

The resulting explosion causes 12s throughout Puget Sound to scramble to UW for safety.

We need some legit TE action, I don't trust Higbee, and Everrett is nowhere to be seen since the Redskins game (aside from that TD in Jaguars game).

While I would completely agree with you that our passing game action coming from the TE unit is weak @ its best, I will wait & be patient with these 3 young drafted TE's.

I do think that 2016 6th Ram draft pick Temarrick Hemingway getting hurt late in pre season & IR'd really hurt this unit overall. Starting TE Tyler Higbee will never be bonified passing threat or a complete NFL starting caliber TE. Our first selection in this years draft Gerald Everett looks like he could be. I even think that Rookie Johnny Mundt may be a good pass catching threat too.

No way do I help the shecocks. JG isnt worth his contract, and anything the Rams gave up would be more valuable to seattle than JG is. I love that seattle traded away their best OL for a TE that does not fit their O at all. And now how many years later they finally concede that they made a mistake, JG does not do well in a scramble drill O. He may do well in the Rams O but I'm not interested unless he is cut.

I hate the idea of an inter-divisional Trade for any reason!! If it's picking-up another teams "Cut" that's another thing!

The Seattle Seahawks may trade tight end Jimmy Graham before Tuesday's trade deadline in an effort to get a left tackle, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning.

Rapoport also says the Seahawks have been in talks about acquiring Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown. The Texans play the Seahawks Sunday.

Brown held out the first seven weeks of the season. He reported to the Texans this week.

Rapoport reports one of the reasons for considering Graham is the salary cap. The Seahawks would save $10 million against the cap if they trade Graham. Seattle has $1.76 million in cap space this season, according to OverTheCap.com.

Graham is in the final year of his contract.

Graham has 24 catches on 41 targets for 230 yards and two touchdowns this season. He's averaging a career-low 9.6 yards per catch this season.

It makes sense to trade him for a left tackle. Graham has not looked good so far this year. IIRC he dropped a couple last week then make some good plays. That's a big cap hit for a catching TE that's not catching much.

Pass, as Michael Bennett said: Jimmy Graham is overrated and soft
