The best team won this past Monday night and I agree that a lot had to do with the gift that Jared gave Scandrick and he simply wasn't good enough to seize the moment...

well i wouldn't call it a gift, he had to dive and stretch out fully to make the catch. it wasn't easy.

a gift is what neil o'donnell gave the cowboys db (larry brown) twice in the superbowl the cowboys won. both times he was standing there minding his own business and the ball hit him in the chest. o'donnell made brown a rich man.

Wait are you saying Scandrick had to stretch and dive for the int now? This is getting more bazaar with every post.

yes, he had to jump in the air and stretch out fully to get his hands on the ball. and reynolds knocked it out of his hands when he tried to clutch it again after it popped out. only a blind person would see it differently.

The bullet from Jared came from an upward trajectory and you can tell it hit Scandrick in the frontal lobe.

His head is then thrusted back and to the right. Back. And to the right.

Wait. What were we talking about?

@kurtfaulk might have exaggerated @Ellard80 but you and I both know that missed opportunities by defenses on game winning drives by offenses go back to the beginning of pro football.

Goff dodged a bullet like the Matrix movie but when it was his turn to return fire, he delivered a bullet to the heart of the Chiefs with the dime he dropped into Gerald Everett's hands..

Not understanding the point of this thread, woulda, coulda, shouda are a constant, one could argue another 1/4” and Reynolds has two TDS, etc, etc

Hey man, we have a bye week coming up. There’s only so much we can visit the Celebration thread, and tear into Peter King.

We need a little filler, man.

Thus, the Scandrick thread.

It’s either that or we re-litigate the Bradford/Suh thing. (n)

Exactly the reason I'm going to take a minimal break to re-charge the OLD batteries...I'm not really too enthused about regurgitating or visiting inane threads just for the sake of staying engaged..I'll be back fresh and ready to go for the Lions...GO RAMS !!! GO ROD !!! Both are the best...

All this bickering, and not one of you has posted a video of this. Interceptions get dropped all the freaking time. That's why DBs are DBs, not WRs.

Oooh! Can we call him Handbricks? That was my favorite nickname for Kendricks, but this guy can have it.

Oh I've been looking!

And yes it wasn't the first time i saw a Db drop a big int.. not even close.

All I know, is J. Reynolds made up big time on that play for having huge azz feet, which screwed us out of 4 points earlier on that TD he should have had if he had just had normal sized feet.

Yeah Reynolds came in and slapped at it - but at that point Scandrick had already lost it.

But yeah one play can change so much.
Actually, I think he still catches if Josh doesn’t knock it away. The ball was falling into his clutches as he lands on his back.
