Stroud does have a strong accurate arm. He likely has the OROY locked up.

Puka's only chance is some kind of monster dramatic finish. Like 200+ yards 3 TD and the game Winner on some amazing catch and Stroud folding in this game. Otherwise I think Stroud has it.

I have only watched a few Texans games, but the ones I have it appears Stroud appears to be throwing from really clean pockets. Not sure if alot of his success is due to that.

Maybe I'm missing something. What records did Stroud break? Puka is about to break a record that has has stood since 1960, which was set before most of us were born. He has also broken others in season rookie records, without which we don't make the playoffs.

Don't tell me he's good (Stroud) when the real standard is that he's a damn quarterback. Lets just rename these MVP and ROY awards to the be the FQBA: the Fucking AB Award since nobody else's efforts matter, no matter how great.

In this game it seems that Stroud does good when he has a clean pocket and all day to throw (in a QB friendly offense). Under pressure he looks mediocre at best.

I’m more impressed with some of the fantastic plays I’ve seen from Puka this season. Unfortunately QB trumps every position in this league, as does how early a player is drafted.

Or ask me if I thought Sam Bradford deserved his OROY? (that would be no). I resist and hate the bias toward QB's in awards like these when they aren't honest about the chances for any other position being effectively eligible for OROY and MVP. It's just a lie to call it the offensive player of the year award, when a player has literally had the best rookie season for a WR, ever. Even if a QB has had a good-great season. Was that QB's season the best ever for a rookie? If it had been, I imagine that you would have mentioned it already.
