So It Begins Helms Deep GIF

Allen is the least surprising coach fired this year. That guy was awful and an asshole it seemed like. Wouldn't be surprised if none of his players liked him.

Started out 2-0, 91 points scored in 1st 2 games. (I think that's a record?)
Talk about going from hero to zero
Lose to the Panthers and heads must roll

Two guys who never should have had those jobs get fired. Not surprised at all.

Not surprised in the slightest. Allen failed miserably with the Raiders, so I was shocked that he got another head coaching job.

Raiders also clearing house

I hated the Raiders all summer because I felt like we would’ve gotten Brock Bowers had they not drafted him. But even though Bowers is already a top 5 tight end in football, I think Verse raises this teams ceiling more as currently constructed. We needed help on the defensive side of the ball and while Bowers could’ve made this offense more explosive, Verse and his skill set make this team more dangerous IMO.

Now, I don't think this is a coveted job because they have cap issues and no QB. Carr is okay, but I would look to deal him if you can and believe the Saints are in a total rebuild plus they really do not have an owner with deep pockets. Aaron Glenn the former Saint assistant will get an interview, but again, I believe they will go offensive and because it will be on the lower end of the pole, I believe Todd Monken Ravens OC makes sense here although they might want to go with a younger opiton, but Monken will take the job because he might not have many options and there are worse places to end up and their fan base is a plus.

He will rehire Josh McDaniels.
If I was an owner looking to hire a HC this year I'd consider a strong defensive background HC with McDipshit as my OC. He'd be an offensive version of Spags (pun possibly intended), no owner would so much as sniff him. :laugh3:

Bill's still probably better than most guys you could hire but no I would pass on him. Age is undefeated and I would want to find someone to give me a decade of success. Get that Coach / GM / Coordinator trinity settled and sit back and watch it bear fruit.

Re: Belicheat I wouldn't have a problem hiring him into the organization as an advisor of some kind. Call it something like Football Operations and Security. :laugh3:

But that stench of cheating is real boy.
