In the video you didnt see, Ryan Russilio claimed the Rams benched Goff in the 1st pre-season game after he lead the Rams to a TD drive and only played a series or two

For any of you that haven't seen this it is a real gem and a jaw dropping display of ignorance. He and his butt-buddy have this giggle going and smirk that they can't believe LA would be stupid enough to take this obvious bust of a quarterback and saddle themselves with having a crappy team for years.

I posted the vids and audio in another thread. I’ll hsve to dig it up. He was lobbying for Mannion last year but said this year we should give him a shot. Justly so.

Not condoning it at all... but I can see why they took that stance.

All they'd seen up to that point was five years of Fisher-ball and how bad it got last year. That's all they knew... oh, and a 31 year old head coach. We didn't know what to expect.

I can see why they'd be skeptical. Of course, we can do without the smug-ness. But straightforward reporting doesn't get audiences... we have to be outrageous.

So, the skepticism might have been warranted at that point in time... but the display is never warranted IMO.

The great part of being a smug asswipe? When you're wrong, you look like a bigger fool.

Congrats dolts, you are the bigger fools.

The link in the OP was after this season's pre-season opener against Dallas. RR was such an imbecile that he suggested the Rams didnt pull Goff after 1 or 2 series (and a TD) but that he was BENCHED
