ROD mock draft in 2016

Why haven't there been multiple picks already? The draft started at 1500 EST today and I was expecting to have to update several picks already.

But... @FrankenRam has until 1000 hours tomorrow to make his pick. I was counting on a fast start but so much for that eh? Remember guys, it took us almost one month to do 4 rounds last year.

Also, everyone gets 12 hours not one hour to make their pick @DaveFan'51 . Just like last year.

lets make a pole of Tunsil, jack, ramsey, goff and bosa and whoever else might be in consideration and lets vote and move on.

Or do what Dieter suggested and get an alternate to do the Browns dirty work.,

Only problem is he hasnt logged in for 10 days. But I agree to at least wait for his time to end.

Was really hoping for a fast start to this, not the opposite.

Me too @Tron . We might need to call on one of our standby GMs (Jumava68, Ramfan503, Corbin.) to take his place. I'll give @JUMAVA68 a heads up. Actually, I just did. We'll still have to wait until Frankenram's time is up though.

The good news is that we started a day earlier than I originally proposed.

If this guy hasn't been on ROD in ten days then he doesn't deserve to play. Let one of the backup GMs take his spot.
 
And we need to get rid of this 12 hours per person bullshit. No wonder it took over a month last year.

Yeah
I mean I managed to coordinate an Easter Egg hunt, watch the Nun's Story on TCM, go to the grocery store for cheese cloth, roast a turkey and tune in to Rod every 15 minutes I know the Holiday isn't an excuse :LOL:

A possibility so be ready with a pick or send me one in a PM and if @JUMAVA68 or Stu either don't want to play, defer to you (recognizing your superior GM abilities) or don't get back to me you're up. You are 3rd in line though.

@Alan we need to give one of the backup GMs a chance here. We clearly can't rely on Frankenram. He just wasted an entire day. If he does this every pick of his, we'll get through two rounds this year. You can't make it on, you forfeit your role. I know I'm not alone in feeling this way. But I'm pretty pissed off not gonna lie. For all of us that we're pumped for this, and one bad apple has to ruin it for everyone. We should have pounded through at least half this first round today. Can we vote on this? Five votes for a new GM? It doesn't seem fair to make everyone wait.

I understand your frustration Jack and I empathize believe me. I was hoping to get in 10 or more picks on our first day but the rules are the rules. We have members from all over the world participating in this mock and the "fair" thing to do is not change the rules in midstream. If he doesn't make his pick by 1000 hours tomorrow he won't be given a chance to delay us again. These are the same rules we had last year and we did 4 rounds so you're being a trifle pessimistic in your projections. Also, as I already mentioned, we started a day early so any progress made today is gravy. It WILL go smoother as we get moving. Have faith brother. :grouphug:

Let's just hope this isn't because of some scary emergency.
